Spot-X Hard Water Stain/Spot Remover - 7 Ounces (2-Pack)

After many failed attempts buffing with various compounds and polishes the water spots remained. I've even used light and strong acid based cleaners with 0000 grade steel wool to no avail. Received the spot-x today and tried it out immediately. It's actually quite economical and once I got the right balance of water and the powder my windows look factory new, unbelievable after everything I have painstakingly used previously. I did all 6 windows with about two ounces of product. Also this review is from Liliana's husband Gary, she just ordered the product for me to use, you know honey-do-lists. Buy this if you have stained and etched glass, you will not be disappointed. A sponge will not work. I used a Scotch-Brite scrubber and it worked beautifully.

I tried to find out before I bought it but got mixed answers. The product states "Do not use with any other sponges other than the ones that came with product!!!!!" So I did not receive the sponges so I can't try it.

I bought this product to clean shower doors. I own a business selling shower doors and one of the big drawbacks on our customers is keeping the glass clean. I'm always buying new products to see if they work better than one I purchased before. Spot-X does a great job, but, you do have to put a little elbow grease into it.

I mixed a paste of this stuff according to the directions and applied it with an aggressive scrubbing pad on my electric drill. After two or three applications, there was no visible improvement in the mineral buildup on our shower floor. It must contain some portion of cement because once it dried in the stainless steel bowl I mixed it in, it took considerable scrubbing and scraping just to remove the residue.I bought four bottles of Spot-X. I used half of one and threw the other three and a half away.

Does not come with the scrub Pad.

This product did nothing to remove the hard water stains on my shower door. I tried to use it in several different ways but realized that it was nothing special whatsoever. I would not purchase this again or recommend its use.

I bought this to remove hard water stains from my glass shower. It works well when used according to directions but it takes considerable scrubbing.
