They really "spruce up" a pair of plain boots. * Dangerous Threads has been manufacturing their famous specialty boot chains for over 20 years. Handcrafted in Nashville, Tennessee from Genuine 5-ounce Topgrain leather (not "bonded" leather or cheap substitute), all pieces are precision die-cut and assembled with permanent steel rivets. Made from the same leather you would find in a heavy duty hiking boot; will withstand a soaking in bad weather without "cracking" or falling apart, will last for years. * The boot chain wraps around the front of the boot, backstrap attaches with steel buckle and loop (like a small belt), and is secured with a 2.5 millimeter unbreakable steel curb chain and clip that runs under the boot. Carefully constructed with superior findings and sturdy metal parts, they are 100% guaranteed against any defect in workmanship or materials. * Sizing: One size fits all; styles designated "Ladies" are about 1" shorter than the mens, but most styles fit any boot. For large boots, (mens size 10 and up), you may need an Extra-Long underchain, gladly furnished upon request. * Sold in pairs as shown; you are bidding on a pair of bootchains, two pieces, not just one piece. These made my western boots fit perfectly. They are not thick but they are leather and they just sit on the boot so they should last a long time.Update: The chain broke where it attaches to the ring but I put it back together with wire ties. Both broke, they rusted. The leather is stretching but seems to be holding well, and the chains have some rust on them. I still like them quite well after three years

Fast shipment of a quality product!
I love the small width and because of the measurement, it makes the item versitle for male or female. They are as described and I bought them for my over the knee suede riding style boots you add a little extra design. They would look great on any style out boots.Also LOVED the quick shipping.

Especially great for the price.
I was amazed at the speed in getting this item. For the price, excellent buy. The only negitive I have is that the bottom chain keeps slipping off and I ended up stepping and tripping on it all night. I am going to have to do something with either the chain or make another hole to tighten the straps.

Good product
I loved the leather, design. I didn’t want bling, but something to give detail to my boots and that’s what I got with the boot bracelets. Only complaint I had was it didn’t give you a choice of men or women and they were way to big, so I had to take to a boot store so they could cut them down to fit my boots.

Fits a bit too large
Leather straps around back of heel too long; shortened up strap that goes around heel myself and now fits ok. Shipping and communication good.
