Nice tool for a #4
These are invaluable for touch-up work on stainless and brass. You can work out shallow cross grain scratches in no time.

It's like a great idea
I saw on Youtube how this can be used, with the grinder, as a sanding wheel, when mounted stationary. HOWEVER, absolutely No where can you find the arbor, the shield, or the bolts to make this happen. It's like a great idea, for those of us who don't need "more equipment", just better use of "what we have". (I know, I sound so un-American, not wanting to go out and spend spend spend my way to happiness, but....too bad). I was able to find a rod connector, the appropriate bolt, and fashioned a shield to protect against flying objects (I use a face shield anyway). Hey Metabo, did you know you could use theses for woodwork, too (more than just auto body repair?) And I'm sorry I didn't feel the need for the $600 burnisher when my angle grinder (with appropriate additions and modifications) would work as well. Come on guys, give us poor working guys a little break.

Good Quality wheel for the price
The quad keyway arbor is made from lighter plastic than other brands, but the non-woven nylon abrasive (they call it fleece, 3M calls it scotch-brite) is actually very dense and of a high quality. I use it to finish 304 Grade Stainless steel on a Fein 14-25E inline polisher/sander and it's held up better than I expected. Regularly, these inline non-woven nylon abrasive flap drums/wheels come in Coarse, Medium, Fine, Very Fine, Super fine, etc., so I didnt know where "80 grit" with respect to non-woven nylon vs. Aluminum Oxide (typical sandpaper) would fall on the aggressiveness scale. I would have to say that this 80 grit Metabo wheel is between coarse and medium but a lot closer to the coarse end of the spectrum.

These do a great job at brush finishing
These do a great job at brush finishing, but they don't last long at all. They are overpriced for how quickly they break down.
