Kadoya Sesame Oil, 22.10 Fluid Ounce

Kadoya is great sesame oil - nice flavor, dark and bold, really a great addition to almost any Chinese or similar dish. I use it as a cooking oil, and it's fine in that role because it has a high smoke point, although I mix it around 25/75 with Canola (1/4 Kadoya, 3/4 Canola) to tamp down the strong flavor and save some $$. It can also be used just to drizzle some on at the end of the cooking process, which I think is how most people use it.I like those 56 oz jugs, which are more economical, but they seem a bit too huge and inconvenient for my purposes. The 22 oz is a really nice size - not ginormous, but a decent quantity to last a while.

I thought I knew what sesame oil tastes like and maybe it wasn't all sesame oil but a combo of some poor other oil or if it's that this oil is toasted to perfection which is my best guess. Yes it costs a bit but it's worth every penny especially when used to cook pot stickers or add a few drops to some noodles, also salads. That's my opinion anyway for what it's worth, but considering I wasn't a big fan of it - due to it being a mix of other oils - I'd recommend this! Comes very well sealed too!

We love sesame oil, but it's relatively expensive in stores. But I can buy this large bottle, store it in the refrigerator and pour some into a smaller bottle I keep at room temp so it's easily usable. It lasts a long time, since we use it for seasoning and sauces, not in large amounts. We really like it a lot.

This is an excellent product. I have used this brand before and am not disappointed. I will continue using this.
