Two thumbs up and more if I had more
Fantastic. These are the same size as the aerogarden pods. I also purchased the sponges to fit inside. See the pictures. The bottom is great as you can put small plants with roots already developed in them as the sides open up to allow roots through. These are sturdy and will last a while. The legit aerogarden pods are connected at the bottom so it’s much harder to transplant baby plants with long roots in them. These also fit the aerogarden plastic domes-but they don’t connect to the pods unless you put the round paper on them-like the aerogarden paper sticker. The same happens with legit aerogarden pods without the paper top; so, they are identical. I purchased the legit aerogarden lettuce pack and every pod germinated multiple plants, so I can’t knock aerogarden. Two thumbs up and highly recommend them. I just didn’t want to spend 2.00/pod. I’m using my own set up, put in my own seeds, and use an air stone in some bins. See pic. I’m having fantastic results. I put nutrients in once a week and am using either Maxigrow powder or the aerogarden liquid. The hole size I use is 1.5 inches or 33mm. Fits great. Pics show multiple stages of growth as I stagger my plants. For those wondering, I use 4ft t8 LEDs around 6000k and around 2000lm. I bought them at Lowe’s. I also use CFL bulbs with similar numbers. They are cheap and seem to work. I don’t like pink lights and have not tried “grow lights.”

Quality baskets BUT..
First off these baskets are great value for the price. They aren't flimsy at all. Nice n sturdy. Highly recommendUnfortunately they didn't fit the 2 different models of hydroponic gardens that I haveThey have ridges that don't let it sit flush to the holesFiling them off working work either as the ring is just as large as the holeI wish I could use these. But overall they are a nice product! And not leaving a bad reviewSo for anybody else, just make sure they fit!The 2 models I have are:-Ahopegardens Indoor Garden Hydroponic Growing system (3L)- iDOOs 12pod Hydroponic Growing System (6.5L)

These fit my Ultra LED just like the originals.
I'm loving my AeroGarden Ultra LED so I can see where I'm going to need a lot of these in the future. As you may have noticed, buying the official Seed Kits are expensive and getting the seeds of your choice are as easy as a trip to Home Depot, Lowes, or any nursery. Shipping charges for seeds by mail cost more than the seeds, unless you order one of those variety packs of some 50 different plants. These baskets fit in place just like the ones that came with my Ultra, and since the domes you already have fit just fine, all you need are a bag of 50 sponges. They should be easy enough to reuse should you want to. There is not much for the roots to get hung up on but granted, I have not tried it yet. Now, because they do NOT include the paper labels, I needed to make my own, otherwise too much light will get in and algae will start growing in the water. Easy to do. I cut out a piece of aluminum foil, held it on top of the basket and put the dome on. This holds the foil in place. Then took a pencil and from underneath punched a hole in the center of the foil the same size as the paper label holes. Gently removed the dome and foil and put my seeded sponge in, then put the dome and foil back on. Ready to grow.

better than the ones that came with my unit
So i'm on my 4th batch of basil (start them in the Aero then move to soil) and one of my baskets got snipped incorrectly the last time I was moving the basil, which didn't allow it to hold the seed pod correctly. Plus it was getting annoying trying to remove the basil without trying to damage the roots. As soon as I got these I was concerned that these were thicker than my original ones and might not fit. Not only was a I wrong, I feel these fit alot better. Paired with the AeroGardens labels, I have the 4th batch going right now.I will see if I can save them during transplanting to extend this 50 pack but if not, at this cost, I have no problems picking up a new set once i'm out.

They work
Affordable pack of grow baskets fit my old (bulb) and new (led) style aerogardens. Great to grow your own seeds, much cheaper than buying the aerogarden pods.

Good product at a good price.
Good baskets. I used "TuckTape" for the tops. It sticks really well and just cut an x, and folded in the slits. Some reviews went on about them being expensive, but it really depends on what your using them for. 50 cents a piece paired with the sponges at .50 cents a piece is really not aĺl that bad. Considering the price of the preloaded kits. The aerogardens produce fantastic seedling and I'm positive you could use these on homemade hydroponic systems as well.

Good
The only problem I have is that I use this to start my plants before putting them into soil. The roots tend tangle around the basket leaving you with only one choice and that is to cut the baskets to release the roots without handling them as much. Or at least that what do because nobody's got time to untangle roots...lol
