The Masters Brush Cleaner & Preserver, 1 oz

I’ve been doing a lot of miniature figure painting, and this definitely helps keeps my brushes in tip-top shape. It helps remove dry paint easily, while also conditioning the bristles. It’s a must have if you use higher quality brushes or want an easy way to take care of your paint tools.

I have used this brush cleaner for quite some time now. I paint miniature game pieces for fun, friends and occasionally, for profit. This brush cleaner has saved me a ton of money and less frustration from poor performing, dirty brushes.My advice: if you like throwing away brushes, then don’t use Masters brush cleaner after every session.

I will buy again. I thought I had clean brushes with just water but you can see the difference. It is gentle on brushes and helps condition them. I use them on synthetic and natural hair brushes. Even works well for strong colors.

This brush cleaner works like a charm. I have a bad habit of leaving my brushes out and getting paint in the ferrel. Ugh. Just wet the brush, twirl in the cleaner and rinse. Sometimes I have to clean them several times to get dried paint out but the brushes come out good as new.

I love the product, always leaves my brushes clean and pliable. However this last one I ordered is so tiny I can only use it for very small brushes. I didn't know came in a "mini" size. I have used this for years and it has always been the same size. I thought I was getting a good price, turns out I paid a few cents less for half the usual product. Very disappointing

Great item for brushes

I had some high quality vintage watercolor brushes that were given to me, but several were splayed with years of pigment built up in the ferrule, and one had even been used for applying glue to something. I bought this brush cleaner with my expectations low, but I was determined to try to save the brushes. I was so impressed with the results! For the brushes in the worst condition, it did take a few rounds of cleaning and a careful hand, but this soap worked incredibly well. I’m shocked! I also cleaned and reconditioned the newer brushes I have, and it restored them to like-new condition. It cleared pigment from the hairs that I didn’t even know was in there. I never knew the importance of a good brush cleaner until I got this, but I will never be without this stuff going forward. It’s great!

I just recently got into painting Warhammer 40k figures, and one thing people have suggested was brush conditioner. I keep hearing about proper brush maintenance, and I definitely wanted to get something when I was able. After using it on my first brush for about 5 seconds, I realize that holy cow, this conditioner kicks all kinds of butt. Not only does it get rid of old dried up paint, it basically restores the bristles to its initial state. I have noticed a drastic betterment to my subsequent projects after using this cleaner, and now I will swear by it forever. It also will seem to last quite a while even if you use it for multiple brushes. If ya want to maintain your brushes, look no further.
