Vivitar V143BT-BLK Bluetooth Retro Boom Box Speaker, Black

Trying to find a budget speaker for my TV and laptop which interconnects and thought this speaker can make it.But this speaker makes static like noise all the time when u connect to the auxiliary cable.

At it's normal asking price this speaker is not supposed to sound this good . A warm sounding speaker that is missing the highs , but the mids and upper bass sound pretty luscious . And it plays very loud in a 20 x 25 room . Add a good equalizer and the Vivitar sounds like it should be a $100 transducer . Oh , and I got it on sale on Amazon , making it a ridiculous steal . AR Cambridge beware . Vivitar ? Really ???

Not sure about the complaints about working outside. We used it tubing on the river, and at the cabin outside all day, sounds awesome ! After several years the charge port broke after weekend at the beach, still great use for the money. Buying another now.quit griping

The left speaker doesn't seem to work. Will have to resend it to amazon.

For the price paid this is a huge disappointment. First, all the great reviews must have been posted by the seller. When you look at reviews for the same device elsewhere (which I unfortunately did after the fact) you find out the same. Would not pair with 3 different phones. By no means a rugged boombox like design. Overall, a cheap and unusable product.

sounds ok for small room, not for outside, and the stated dimensions are untrue, not 13" actually close to 8"..Also not 8" tall closer to 6"

I got this on sale & it's the best blue-tooth boom box I've ever owned by far! I went through about 5 before this one! It's very durable & links quicker than any blue-tooth device I've ever owned. A very safe investment for someone with an outdoorsy job.. I've dropped it 3 times and works great still ! My others were done on the 1st drop! Excellent Sounding too!!

I bought one of these used for dirt cheap and didn't expect much. To my surprise this thing works extremely well. It is very loud if you want it be. I've owned around 10-15 Bluetooth speakers of various sizes and this one out performs them all. I would definitely recommend it.
