After reading reviews, I thought these might be a knockoff, and the picture of the item ordered was totally different than advertised but they sent me Madrid Big Buckles in a very cool shade of orange (“pecan”) that goes with everything. Love them. Can walk for miles, wear all day.

I need a little more support I guess you’d call it in regards to keeping the shoe on my foot when walking. With there being only one band, as far down near the toes, it made it so you had to grip the shoe with your foot to get it to stay on. I’m a fast walker and would walk out of them if I wasn’t careful.

I love Birkenstock's and have a pair of these in the white but I got them in M width. The only pair left on Amazon at the time in black when I purchased these were the W. I decided to try it. They are okay so I did not feel to return them but really, they are too wide for me. Live and learn. I did not think the difference in a sandal like this would be that significant but it is, at least for me. I tend to wear them around the house like a slipper but I really don't go out in them much. Great quality though and they clean easily. A little soap and water and they look like new. My white ones are on their fourth season and doing great. I take them to the beach as well. Just make sure you don't get the cork footbed too soaked. Too much water will ruin these on any Birkis. However, if that happens, just dry them out. There is also something on the market to condition the footbeds when needed. I have never used it and still don't find a need to.

I have rather wide feet... so i checked the sizes on the Birkenstock website before purchasing on Amazon so that I would make sure to order the right size. Birkenstock only showed this style in narrow.. but i took a chance and ordered them anyway thru Amazon... and lo and behold.. PERFECT FIT!The color is really cool... sort of a pale pink champagne - pearlized color.the only downside is getting used to walking in them, but I think in time, that will improve... it's just a totally new experience for my feet... I have never purchased Birkenstocks because i didn't think you could get anything but leather... which I don't wear... but a friend advised me that they aren't all leather any more.. so i took a chance and am glad I did!

Normally I am a size 7 so I purchased these in 37 - they seemed to be too big for my feet so I had to return them for the size smaller which fit better and don't flop around as much. I ended up getting the 36.Once I received the size smaller, they fit pretty snugly which is okay, but I don't think I could walk a long time in these because my feet are rather wide as well and the sides of the shoe hurt me. I have very low / almost no arches whatsoever so I thought that these would be good in terms of arch support; the arch support seems to be good. The sandals seem to be a bit stiff, but I'll continue to try to break them in.Pros: arch support, lightness, very cute/fashionable, a staple for your wardrobeCons: maybe not good for wide feet, they are stiff shoes, may not necessarily be comfortable based on your foot anatomy

This is my third pair of this particular style of Birkenstock. I have more pairs than I care to admit to but this is my go-to pair ( not this color but style). I have the toffee color and a green pair; I got the black patent for more dressier occasions ( for the comfort factor). I had written a review for the toffee colored pair and have to repeat that the Madrid style reminds me of the original Dr. Scholl's exercise sandal, which I also swore by but somehow lost somewhere, back in time. If you are familiar with the Birkenstock foot bed, you'll know your correct size, so no problem there. Amazon's prices for Birkenstocks are amazing- I did have to check out several vendors to find my size in the style I wanted. To me, the Madrid is a flip-flop that is healthier for my foot.

It has been a decade since I left the college scene and entered the career world, and I hadn't worn Birks in that long. However, I remembered how comfortable they were and since I've developed plantar fasciitis, I was looking for a shoe with good support. I used to wear the two-strap Arizonas, but I thought these looked more feminine and that I could wear them more places and with more outfits. I chose the black patent leather style. They have not disappointed. My foot and lower leg pain has decreased quite a bit. Highly recommend. I have wide feet and wear a true 7.5 W or 8 regular and 38 M fit great. I find Birks to be a little wider than the average American shoe.

I wear a 7.5 and this fits my foot perfectly. I love the comfort and style. This is my 2nd pair and hope they last as long as my first pair did.

Nach langer Recherche ist dieser Schuh für mich ein Fake! Die Schuhe kamen in keiner Orginalverpackung, sondern in einem lieblos reingeschmissenen braunen Karton. Die Originale werden in blauen Kartons geliefert. Kein Zertifikat ect. lag bei. Die Riemen waren offen und der Schuh fühlte sich hart an-kenne ich von meinen anderen Bikis nicht. Normalerweise sind diese Schuhe auch immer im Karton in extra Papier eingeschlagen-fehlte auch hier gänzlich. Leider war auch die Tüte um den Karton viel zu klein um sie für die Retoure ordentlich zu verschließen. Ich habe mich erst im Nachhinein dafür entschieden eine Rezension zu verfassen-daher sind auch keine Bilder beigefügt. Die Schuhe gingen sofort zurück.

Inizialmente ero scettica all'acquisto online di queste ciabatte dato che ho la versione infradito che mi calza un numero sotto, invece il 40 è il numero perfetto per me... comodissime e identiche alle foto online!!!!!
