Very useful tool if you're going to be handling any large cuts of meat, or breaking down a carcasses.They're very sharp and seem to be relatively durable. They're extremely utilitarian in nature. They're not designed or intended to be pretty. Lots of mold flashing still visible, but not enough to harm function or make them that uncomfortable to use. I wouldn't want to use these all day every day, as the grips seem like they're not really going to be comfortable for hours and hours of use. But for the weekend warrior, they're fine. The grips are slip resistant, and the hooks are very sharp.I don't have an autoclave, but they appear to be autoclavable.

the plastic is easily cleanable. I hunt and process my own meat products. Mainly because I try to take the meat processing to an art form. I also will buy bulk meat products at stores and process it myself. These meat hooks make taking cold slippery meat out of brine almost effortless and removes the worry about dropping a slick large portion. I really like these and keep coming up with ways that they are better than using bare or gloved hands. I am not sure how securely the plastic handle is connected. So I am hesitant on saying how strong the meat hooks are and would not overload them.

Meat hooks are great, and these make the cut. Handling big pieces of cold, primal cuts fresh out of the cooler can be murder on the hands; these meat hooks make it a breeze when boning out large cuts and quarters. For skinning and quartering hanging animals these really make it easy to rotate and hold the animal in position while working. The bright orange makes them easy to locate when you set them somewhere while working, not black or white like all the other stuff. They also work great for young or inexperienced helpers; they can hold the animal and the hooks keep their inexperienced fingers out of the way of the knife blade!

It’s not stainless steel, it’s made of cheap metal only dipped in galvanize, not worth the money, used for bringing fish in boat. Had to sharpen the ends to stab the body, not for fish and doubt it would stab any meat.

Good price good quality. Helps managing large chunks of meat.

I haven’t use it yet but it looks okay.

Die beiden Haken haben eine unfassbar schlechte Qualität, beide total verbogen/ aufgebogen und an den Griffen stehen Scharfe Kanten ab. Ich denke ich werde die Haken zurückgeben.
