A Concise, thought provoking, entertaining Red Pill.
This book concerns things which (to quote this book) "If somebody, or some group begins to penetrate or expose, they often get attacked in various ingenious ways." It is testament to his fortitude as a researcher and writer that here, once again, Pinchbeck goes out on an intellectually robust limb to offer a thought-provoking, comprehensive, well researched message of hope by asking: “which branching timeline will we choose, like the monkeys we are, to climb along”One thing I found refreshing about this work, is that Daniel Pinchbeck proceeds on the premise that the UFO phenomenon is basically old news, and that it's time to cast the investigative net far wider, over an area that stretches beyond the comfort zone of many readers. From there, this concise, easily readable little book goes beyond UFOs into stuff to make one's hair stand on end, which is why less well researched readers may casually dismiss it as the stuff of fantasy woo woo. Anyone who takes this approach hasn't done their homework. In a world where truth seems far stranger than any conceivable fiction, Pinchbeck has taken mythology, theology, psychology, academia, and well documented phenomenon, and discussed these things in a context mainstream media doesn't dare touch. It asks questions of earth shattering significance, and argues that any clear picture of these things can only be attained by viewing them through the esoteric or 'occult lens. In an era where certain forces work relentlessly to direct the tide of human perspective down a narrow one way street, Pinchbeck's writing offers a refreshing, albeit eminently serious detour. This book is intelligently and thoughtfully written, and marked throughout by the same sense of caring for humanity and planet earth that runs throughout all of Pinchbeck's work. Above all it's entertaining as hell. Totally worth the time and money.

Brief and paranoid
The idea of a control system operating behind the scenes to influence humanity's myths is a startlingly good one. It explains why unfathomable, irrational experience seems to be a fundamental part of the human condition, and suggests that we might be able to step outside the skinner box of our religions and folklore and assert some measure of intellectual Independence from forces that seem to have been driving us toward madness since time immemorial. The force and potential of this idea attracted me to this book, but unfortunately there's no liberation to be had here. Pinchbeck strips the notion of it's real power and promise, that we might be able to gain some rational insight into our predicament, abandoning the caution and care with which it was developed by Jacques Vallee, instead using it as a pretext for asserting his own paranoid mythos about evil grey aliens and human servility in a system of psychic vampirism. It's also a very thin book, with it's main ideas formulated simply and left undeveloped.

Riding the Rapids of the Occult Control System
Well written and quickly flowing essay. What I found riding its rapids is the essay's mixing of Jacques Vallée, Rudolf Steiner, Friedrich Nietzsche, and various abductee accounts. One slower moving topic is Pinchbeck's thought on crop circles, which left me less than satisfied about their significance. Overall, still a thought provoking read, and Daniel Pinchbeck is an explorer to support.

Wow!
Reading this began satiating a part of me that was hungry for some really good deep speculative pondering. The flavor of Pinchbeck's though is just what some part of my mind was missing. He bridges the grounded and the esoteric in a way that doesn't make me want to just label UFOs and conspiracists with a shrug or a sense of subtle or overt aversion and instead turn towards the meta ideas in a way that makes me go "huh." He takes stubs of ideas I've thought about a little bit, and expresses them more fully in a more universally focused and intriguing way. I appreciate the lucidity and succinctness of his writing.

An enlightening book
This is another enlightening book from Daniel Pinchbeck. I'm a fan of his previous books, and Occult Control System didn't disappoint. He dived deep into the subject of UFOs and the paranormal. I must admit apart from being a fan of the X-Files, I really didn't know much about the topic before I read, but he highlights some things which are pretty shocking. I recommend for anyone info ufology or just casually curious about the topic.

Important to read.
The author posed the question but failed to give a viable answer out of the problem. This is spiritual warfare we are dealing with.

Bravo
Thank you DP. You just compiled, and eloquently made succinct, the last 3 years of esoteric investigative research. My fav is the ending. The way you have addressed the different sectors who have intentions to bring in a better future and how they each need to expand their awareness and current techniques is very well done. And simple. I will be incorporating this book into my teachings as “required reading”.

A timely exposure of what we Now need to know
Daniel Pinchbeck has a habit of touching the raw nerve of the moment and uncovering the next emerging issue - like he's got an in-built, intuitive, 'nail-on-head detector.' His new work - 'The Occult Control System' - is a long essay, or rather booklet, that is like an awareness starter-kit. It's not here to give you everything, but to open up the subject for exposure, awareness, and examination. And this is, I feel, the start of some very necessary understanding.Pinchbeck discusses - bravely! - the idea of a 'spiritual control' project, based around collective consciousness and the UFO phenomenon. He looks at this from within a body of research that includes the Gnostic/Simulation angle, and sources such as John Lamb Lash, Patrick Harpur, Jacques Vallee, amongst others. With this, he puts forth the hypothesis that such phenomenon - from fairies to UFOs - are a hyper-dimensional cross-over and that there is a strategy in place to usurp the 'spiritual' frequency as a fixed, control one - like walking out of one game door and finding yourself in another. Why the accelerated rise of UFO interest now? Why all the media tie-ins? What has this got to do with the collective human consciousness? If you think something could be afoot, then dip into this booklet. If you think what's been said so far is ludicrous - that's fine...continue on your way... Everyone has a choice to make, if choices can be made at all!

A fascinating meta analysis
A short but well informed and useful attempt at a meta analysis of the relationship between the occult, the ufo phenomena, 21st century chaos politics, and the future of human spirituality. An impossibly ambitious subject that can only ever produce more questions than can be answered, but we should be grateful for any attempt to tackle it intelligently, which this does, and it should be celebrated.

Good
I'm not sure why this is a book, it has the feel of an online article. It's still a good starting point if you don't know much about the subject. But it's an extremely short read. Like another commenter said, you should read the books he mentioned to dive deeper into the phenomena. If you want to skip this book or just want to know on what this essay is based, I've made a list of all the books mentioned.Daniel Pinchbeck - Breaking Open The Head 2012: The Return of QuetzalcoatlRichard Dolan - UFOS and the National Security State The Secret Space ProgramsSergio Magana - The Dawn of the Sixth SunCarl Jung - The Flying Saucer MythPatrick Harpur - The Philosopher's Secret FireC.D.B.
