Inside Trump's White House: The Real Story of His Presidency

Remove the messy aspect of politics, and you get a neat hook learning about the 45th President. History is important and good to learn. This book was written by Doug Wead who’s a New York Times best selling author. He’s written more than 30 books, and served as an advisor of 2 American presidents. One of which he co-wrote with, and swerved on the WH senior staff. This book is very detailed about the positives that this 45th President has done during his 4 years, and documents the struggles with the administration and all the alleged scandals that have proven in recent times to have been coups. Again, remove the messy garbage from tv and read this book for true facts and information. It’s pretty dang cool. Very recommended. 439 pages, photos in color with a hard cover shell.

Doug Wead is known for thorough research and for presenting his findings in a concise narrative that is compelling and fascinating. This is evident in “Inside Trump’s White House” where he was given access to the president, his family, and his staff. He details many of the successes of Trump’s first two years in office, and he makes a strong case for the President’s ability to remain focused in spite of almost-constant attacks by the main stream media and political enemies. Most men would have been defeated by such forces; but President Trump has determination and commitment to the cause of freedom, the preservation of American ideals, and the desire to “Make American Great Again.” Donald Trump is a polarizing figure, and people either love him or hate him. I am happy to put myself in the former group. “He may be crude. He doesn’t pull any punches. He is surely colorful” (p. 394). He also surrounds himself with the brightest, is not afraid to “think outside the box,” and has a proven track record as one who knows how to get things done. He loves our country; I believe we are better because of his leadership. I, like millions of other Americans, appreciate his service to the country, and I miss him!

Just finished reading this book and my overall observation is that if you are a Trump supporter you will love this book while if you are a Trump hater you will think this book is total BS. Since I was a member of the “anybody but Trump” wing of the Republican Party prior to the 2016 election I thought based upon other reviews I should give this book a read. Have to admit I’m very glad I did since I found this book to be very revealing and insightful. Matter of fact I highly recommend this book to any “never Trumper” and/or Independent voter because it definitely opened my eyes to : a. how effective Trump has been in igniting the economy by creating new jobs, b.how Trump has successfully navigated the numerous foreign policy land mines to date and c how deeply dishonest and determined the media, left leaning corporate sponsors, academia and the Democratic Party are to oppose Trump at every turn. While Wead does tend to look at some of Trumps accomplishments through rose colored glasses, while choosing to ignore some of his failures (i.e. inability to get a comprehensive health care bill passed), I do think Wead makes a very good case in detailing just how much Trump has accomplished which by all regards the media (other than Fox News of course) for political and other reasons has totally ignored. Highly recommend for Trump supporters, never Trump Republicans as well as Independent voters.

I don't read very many books that I put in the category of page-turner because I am typically reading up to ten books at any given time. This one is a page-turner. Talk about having full access to the White House and the President Trump family. The author has plenty of experience covering and writing about Presidents. This effort ranks among his top three books. I enjoyed the way the author approached discussions with family members and I found his "inside" information on newsworthy events, enlightening. Given our President's lack of success in earlier marriages, I'm shocked that he was a major factor (with his two previous wives) in raising excellent children. I am not surprised by their intelligence or their accomplishments. Their personalities and class jump off the pages during their respective interviews. They are candid, very special people and part of a great family. Best part, like their father, they love our country. I "lent" this book to one of my dear friends and it has been on the road, ever since. So far, everyone who reads this book, loves it and has a friend, who wants to read it? I want this book for my permanent library but, I may never get it back.

The author, Doug Wead, is a political operative who writes books. He worked inside the White House for George H.W. Bush and revealed in another book that the Bush campaign organized a lot of liars to pretend to be precinct chairs dedicated to Pat Robertson, but the Bush people flipped at state conventions and revealed they were really Bush people. This was a dirty trick and was unnecessary because Pat Robertson had no chance against Bush Senior and the other primary candidate, Bob Dole. Doug Wead revealed this dirty trick in an interview for Family of Secrets by Russ Baker. What I found most interesting in the insider's view of the Trump White House is how much the Trump kids supported Donald Trump. They worked their hearts out for him. Also interesting was hearing one of the Trump kids saying that when they campaigned in Pennsylvania they saw overwhelming support for Donald Trump and little support for Hillary. There were barns painted with Trump's name on the side, but nothing like this for Hillary. It was a very interesting book.

God has blessed America and more recently has moved upon and heard the cries of Christians to bring America out of its deceptive path led by the swamp and primarily Demon-crats! Doug candidly describes a microcosm of events surrounding this Messenger of God and his family…Now…the question remains…is America willing to recognize and fight for him to continue his Godly, purpose driven mandate to Make America Great Again?!

I am from Australia, and have found the constant daily attacks by both many Democrats and Fake News Media, sad, angry, Incompetent Sociopathic Behaviour in the Extreme; leading to Crimes Against Humanity... To read some of what President Trump has had to put up with and have many of my feelings and insights confirmed, was a breath of fresh air; and would highly recommend this book!

I fell in love more with Trump after reading this book. Mainstream media did a bad job on him.

Couldn’t put this book down, I really enjoyed the journey of gaining more insight into the Trump family and President Trump in particular
