The chairs came preassembled so don’t have to worry about assembly. I was alittle worried about the wood having too much of a glossy finish but it doesn’t. Very MCM and elegant. The chairs are quite light and came pre-padded on each legs which is great for hardwood. I have a toddler at home so I got the seat cushions to go with it and it’s been a breeze to clean. I got the chairs to go with the west elm Anton dining table and love how it tucks under the table top. I work from home at my dining table so these are fine to sit on for a long time. It does make a little bit of noise when you get in and out of the chair but that doesn’t really bother me. My family doesn’t really lean back or sit very far back in the chair so we are fine with the way the back is designed, but if you are the type that needs back support, these may not be the best choice. Plan on buying 2 more later on!

Chairs are as pictured. Sturdy, comfortable, and beautiful in style and in their simplicity. They were safely packaged so arrived in perfect condition. Initially, FedEx delivered the chairs to the wrong address ... actually, the wrong state, and when VODUR was notified of the error, the company sent out a new set immediately. Shipment was apparently expedited. As a matter of fact, the chairs arrived sooner than the original due date (they arrived on Christmas Eve). Customer service was a pleasure to deal with -- understanding, helpful, and generous!

Lightweight but sturdy. Classic design and looks great with organic modern home with the curved wood and matte finish wood. I bought a total of 6 chairs and received 2 at first then after I agreed I like them they sent the remaining 4 working a couple days. Quick delivery and the chairs come already assembled and wrapped well for stage shipping.

I shopped around for the same chair on various website and landed on these. The color is nice and I like that they are real wood and not metal legs. The price seems fair compared to others, however I still feel that’s overpriced for what you’re getting (I feel like that’s all furniture right now unfortunately). Comfort wise I would give them a 6/10, maybe would be a 7/10 with a cushion. If you have kids just be warned- if food goes into the bottom of it, I have no idea how you would clean it. They were also very wobbly and just ended up not being the look I was going for. They looked a bit cheap. I returned them which was a huge hassle trying to get these chairs back into a box (came 2 to a box) that was basically falling apart by the time it arrived, then to bring the2 GIANT boxes to FedEx (if you don’t have a truck or large vehicle good luck). I had to work with the seller to return, they did not charge me for shipping but did deduct from the refund for a “restocking fee”

EDIT: I returned the chestnut color and got the walnut (“brown”) color. They arrived today and I love them! Added picture of the walnut chairs. In theory and in photos I loved the look of chestnut but as stated before they were too orangey in person. The walnut on these is perfect. Not too dark. Another note comparing these chairs to the poly and bark weave chairs: we have two black poly and bark weave chairs. I wanted to replace them with walnut. I opted to try this brand and am not disappointed at all. Construction feels and looks the same quality. P&b chairs are *slightly* taller, the seat wider, the back more reclined, the slope of the arm rests more straight, and the weave on the chair a bit more relaxed/concave. These differences are barely noticeable (I am just a very detail oriented person who notices these things, others may not even notice). I actually find this brand to be slightly more comfortable than the p&b chairs- more upright posture. Original review: I have no complaints about the chairs construction, but sadly I have to return the ash wood chestnut color as it looks too orange in person. I was hoping it would be slightly lighter than walnut but it’s closer to natural with an orange tint, in my opinion. I purchased this color based on many reviews- thinking it would be what I wanted. Will return and purchase the walnut.
