Good Product! Convenient set up and Size worked well.
I ordered 3 cots together. 2 Xl and one L for Camping. First time putting them together was a little rough, but after sleeping on them once it was easier to put together the next time.Very simple set up, along with the Carrying Case, and the cot organizer, definitely made this a great purchase!! We very much enjoyed the free mask too! It was a nice touch with everything going on right now.Size - My husband is 6ft and 240lbs, and I'm 5' 7" 190lbs and the XL was very roomy for both of us. Our 7yr old used the Large, and had our 65lb dog sleep with her just fine. Our friend thats around 6ft and 160lbs sleep borrowed the Large and slept on it just fine.Sturdiness - they do wiggle a bit when adjusting position, but they didnt squeak or make noise at all.We didn't put anything betwen the sleeping bag and Cot. I think we will get matts eventually, but for now its comfortable enough, especially for just 1 or 2 nights. Definitely wish we wouldve at least put a blanket on the cot before the sleeping bag for warmth though. All in all, Very Satisfied with our purchase!

Excellent Cot
This cot was purchased to replace a similar cot, but with aluminum legs, which after 20 years service broke under my fat brother's weight (don't sit right on the middle edge - it is ok to sit in the center of the cot though). This replacement is better, in that it has steel legs which are a little stronger and support a little more weight than my aluminum leg cot. The down side is that it weighs more - but it is for car camping anyway, and won't be carried too far. Some of the XL cots are huge, and even closed take up a lot of room in a trunk. This one is perfect size, and packs down easily to "normal" cot storage size. It even comes with a nice little organizer. If you are 6' and 200 lbs or larger, definitely get the larger version of this cot, which is perfect size - not too big). Compared to my daughter's Coleman, this one is a little lighter, as the top frame is aluminum (and I think strong enough) - the Coleman is all steel if I remember correctly? Compared to my wife's cot, the end arms stick beyond the cot on all 4 sides on this cot, and my wife's only has one long stick out end (to tension the last end member to frame). I kind of like all 4 ends long, as it pushes the tent away from the sleeping bag a little if you are tight to the tent side wall, and you can apply tension on any of them to snap or pull them in or together. Price is fair.

Don't buy this!
Product works by stretching fabric to tighten. Old fashoined cots had wood poles with dowel pins - very sturdy. This product has plastic pieces pressed into aluminum with a bolt and washer design to slide the cross piece over. Good design logically, but you have to use super tough nylon plastic. This plastic is brittle and broke off completely and very easily. This is unavoidable in my opinion based on the design. Nobody is going to be perfect in assembly and these are so brittle it does not take much. I could not even rate it for assembly or comfort because mine broke on the first assembly. I even tried to baby the other side but it broke off easily. Back in the box and return. No way to fix or workaround. There are also a lot of sharp edges on the metal brackets holding this together that could easily slice into your mattress, pad or sleeping bag. Poor implementation of materials and fabrication. The metal brackets could have been de-burred and rounded prior to assembly. Poor to leave it up to consumer while in assembled configuration.I predict you will be stranded and sleeping on the ground if you trust this item.

Seems like good quality for the price - better than cots in the $50-$60 range.
Wider than most cots in price range, and longer. Better for bigger guys and gals. Will not fit in smaller tents. It rocks a bit from end to end when you lay on it, so hope it will have good longevity. Rowing my raft down the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon for my fifth trip in October. 21 days on the river and I decided I didn't want to sleep on the ground anymore. That will be a good test of durability and comfort. Hope to sleep under the stars every night! Was a little difficult to get last end bar in when I first set it up, but my son has been sleeping on it and I don't think it will be as hard to set up next time. I like the gear storage bag that comes with it. Folds up to a smaller package than most other cots and is also lighter. So far, I like it a lot.

Great cot
These are great. I bought one initially to try it out and after being impressed with it I bought a second. It’s a narrow footprint but that’s what I needed. I had an old mattress topper so I cut a piece of foam to fit and it sleeps awesome. Without the foam it’s still comfortable enough but as should be expected, it’s stiff and flat. Not sure what the fuss is about setting it up...I found it pretty easy and takes just a couple minutes. The fabric is a little tight but it’s supposed to be and if you can’t stretch it the little bit to secure the cross braces you probably shouldn’t be camping without adult supervision. It’s heavier and bulkier than I would want to backpack or hike with but in my cabin tent at the deer lease it’s perfect. It actually goes back in the bag pretty easily which was a surprise since no camping equipment ever goes back into the same bag it came in.

Comfy, spacious, easy to use
Unlike other reviews, I found this extremely easy to set up and use. I set it up when I first got it, and it was a little stiff but had no major issues. I took it camping for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was able to get it set up inside the tent with ease....even with my two young kids asking a million questions and doing everything in their power to distract me. I am just 1t 6' tall and my whole body from head to toe is supported. It is strong and sturdy and comes with a handy hanging pouch to keep things close by. Great purchase and great product for the cost.
