300 Yard Range Mini Megaphone

I bought these after having to return another product that was appx half the price but didn't work.These have a good, quality feel, fit and finish. These use 6 AA batteries in a battery pack, which should mean that a 9V "transistor radio" battery could be substituted.I really like how the batteries are in a separate pack. In my application these are in emergency kits for emergency use; and may sit in storage for a long time. If the batteries should leak, it will be a simple matter to replace the battery holder pack without damage to the unit itself.Very good volume, no trouble with feedback.Volume control comes readily to hand. Pull trigger to activate; works well, feels solid; but not so heavy to be a weight issue.One minor complaint is that the slide switch for the siren is actuated too easily. During our practice evacuation drill, several of these switched on accidentally while handling them. This is easily corrected by filing down the switch.The siren is earsplitting indoors, very effective outdoors.

We are a corporate picnic facility and go through a lot of megaphones. I typically have always used the heavy duty fanon brand. However, I am switching to these for the 2016 season as they are very light weight and therefore easier for our game leaders to hold up all day... and they put out the same volume. We will see how they hold up to a lot of wear and tear. However, even the Fanon had a lot of issues with the usage they get at our facility so if I get through the summer I will be satisfied.

Been buying these for years and years and the last 3 I purchased have sounded terrible. Don’t know how they passed through quality assurance. Disappointed

Very good; the trigger switch was a must-have for me. Sounded great.

It was to big for what I needed. I sent it back.

Siren is pretty loud, trigger is nice to use. Light weight, seems durable. I have not used it many times but it appears to be durable

Not worth the money. Put the batteries in and the top will not close. When I hold it shut and turn it on to even see if it works nothing but the siren. Unhappy customer.
