These light up quickly but they leave this taste in your mouth. I’ve never used anything like this before was trying something to go with my hookah but not 100% sure these were the after taste left in my mouth but I’m thinking it was instead of my hookah flavoring Good price I would say.

These charcoal discs are nice for burning copal incense. I use metal tongs to heat the disc on the stove burner until it's lit, then place it in a dish with my crushed copal on top. Lasts about an hour.

Horrible! These don’t light easily, and they don’t last more than 5 minutes, if at all. Since they have the lighting accelerator in them, you can’t relight them if they go out. Have ended up throwing away 6 of them already, some still looking as if they were never lit. I purchased these for burning incense resin. I light them & wait for them to heat up, as you would do for using in a hookah. They tend to burn out before I even get the resin on them or right after. (I use very little resin, so no, I’m not smothering the charcoal- I make sure it has plenty of air to keep the ember burning.) Thus, I end up wasting, not only the charcoal, but some incense resin as well. I would not spend money on these, especially if you’re wanting to burn incense resin.

We used the discs for smudging for several ceremonies. They worked well, easy to use, and lasted a perfect amount of time.

Definitely will be ordering these again! Did not take a long time to light compared to other coals we've used.
