Riparo Genuine Leather Full-finger Driving Gloves

If you're looking for a general leather driving glove, this fits the bill. It's leather, it has a classic driving glove look and they last long. Nothing more nothing less.Reasons why I love it: The red stitching matches the inside of my car interior that has almost identical red stitching on black leather. I love the way my drive feels when using this glove on my steering wheel. I love how I feel just wearing them looking cool and feeling cool. I leave the gloves on my steering wheel or in the glove compartment...because you know, that's where gloves go.Reasons why I dislike them: The only real valid reason I have to dislike these is because overtime they stretch. But that is typical of a leather glove over time during constant use.Tips: It would be wise selecting a size down from your normal hand size if you're going for that snug feeling. If you want a looser feeling stick to your usual size but be prepared for the gloves to stretch over time.

... I'm a professional driver and the pads of my ring fingers get raw from the way I grip the steering wheel. I tried many solutions, including paper medical tape, and still have difficulty keeping the skin from callousing and then peeling off in layers. I cut the glove tips off the thumb, index, and pinky fingers so I can use a tablet computer and do paperwork. This works out for me and does save my skin. They grip the wheel with a wonderful sense of tackiness, but clean. I bought them a size small so they fit snugly, and that worked well. On the down-side, I leave the ring and 'birdie' fingers, and the tips aren't as 'snug' as I'd like - there's a bit of excess leather. That's better than being too tight though. The edges of the fingers I cut off do wear and roll back a bit, but that's not the way they were designed to be worn. I expect they'll last me three or four months, which for long days of constant driving in all weather is quite reasonable.

Nice gloves, but I had to try a couple different pairs to find ones that fit right. I wanted the gloves to fit very snug, almost like a second skin, as they should. I'm not a small guy, I'm 6'2" and 200lbs and when I measured around my palm it was over 8.5" around which by the size chart should be a size Large, but to make sure they would be tighter I went with Medium...well the Medium was not snug at all and left a lot of leather material bunching up, not ideal at all...so I then returned those for a size Small and the small fits perfect! Not too tight, but nice and snug like a second skin and they will stretch and mold to my hands perfectly. So, go smaller than the size chart suggests. Great gloves for a great price.

Well stitched. I am a 6'1" male (~185.42 cm tall), 220 lb in weight. I have large hands, but the small size fits best. You want something very tight on your hands, and keep in mind that the leather will stretch over time. The finger length is a few millimeters too long, but other than that - a very good fit.

This is my second pair of Riparo's. Still have my first pair of black Riparo's (years old now but still looking fine). Bought these new brown gloves when my old brown gloves (not Riparo's) finally wore out. Leather quality and stitching are excellent. Fit is spot on. The circumference of my hand is 8.5" and length from middle-finger to base of palm is 8". The Riparo Medium size fits snug when new and will naturally stretch to a comfortable fit. Bonus with these new brown gloves (but not shown in the online pictures) is the extra perforations. The old black gloves have a single row of perforations on just the back-of-hand side, running from each fingertip to the base, excluding the thumb. These new brown gloves have double rows of perforations on both palm and back-of-hand sides running from the fingertip to the base and include the thumb. The thickness of the leather is a good compromise between thin enough for good tactile feel when operating controls, but thick enough to not feel fragile.

These gloves not only have that classic look, but they are beautifully crafted and fit nicely. Excellent workmanship and nice detail make these the perfect driving glove. I cannot say enough about how professional and service-oriented the seller is, too. I had originally ordered a Small, which was too tight, and I contacted the seller about getting a size Medium. The seller response time was immediate, and in no time, I had gone through the return process, and another pair showed up. Actually, I would HIGHLY recommend any product from this seller, just because of the quality service I received in dealing with this glove purchase. You will love having these gloves!

Too large and poor fit.

Llevo 9 años usando guantes de cuero para conducir y día a día.La talla M no corresponde con las medidas, es una L, por lo que ya sabes, si vas a comprarlos busca una talla inferior. Quitando esto, los guantes tienen un cuero y construcción decente, pero tienen restos de pintura metálica y la forma, como se puede apreciar, deja un hueco enorme en la palma de la mano, algo que nunca me había pasado. Lamentablemente no cumple mis expectativas, aunque son bonitos, el fallo en la talla, los defectos y forma hace que dejen mucho que desear.

Tolles Rot! Gut verarbeitet. Das Leder ist nicht zu dünn und nicht zu fest. Angenehm! Normalerweise habe ich Damengröße M bei Handschuhen. Sie fallen größer aus. Wobei ich glaube, dass mir S zu klein sein würde. Jetzt bin ich einfach mal gespannt ob sie beim Tragen kleiner oder größer werden.

Les gants sont arrivés dans un colis au format lettre cartonné. Un carton plat était d'ailleurs glissé dans chacun des gants afin d'éviter les mauvais plis. Pas d'odeur forte à la sortie du plastique d'emballage. Il n'est pas indiqué si c'est du cuir véritable (en tout cas je n'ai rien vu écrit dans ce sens en regardant rapidement), toutefois les coutures sont plutôt bien faites.On ressent légèrement les coutures internes au bout des doigts, mais rien d'énervant et elles se tasseront sans doute avec le temps. On est loin d'un cuir de top qualité comme sur des gants Porsche Design, mais le prix est divisé par 3-4 ici et franchement la coupe est plutôt bien foutue. Après c'est une question de goût sur les couleurs, mais je trouve que le bi-ton est une bonne idée (surtout histoire d'être sûr de ne pas laisser de marques sur un volant plutôt clair).J'ai pris une taille "M", j'ai de grands doigts mais assez fins (je fais 1.85m pr 84kgs), et il vaut mieux que les gants serrent un chouilla car avec le temps le cuir va se détendre et c'est toujours plus agréable pour conduire plutôt qu'une tenue trop "lâche". Les boutons pressions se clipsent sans difficulté et se défont également facilement. Bref, satisfait de mon achat, à voir si dans le temps ça tiendra le coup mais je n'ai pas trop de doute pour ça à 1ère vue.

I've owned a few pairs of driving gloves (even the priced higher quality brands) and this one held its own. Leather was well sewn and the overall design execution is done tastefully well (I got the black with red accents). Overall leather feel and quality is good and so far has been performing well. I would recommend and would buy again, especially for the price.

Bellissimi guanti ottimamente rifiniti e fatti con pellami di buona qualità. Come suggerito da un altro utente, li ho acquistati di una taglia inferiore perché calzano molto e con l'utilizzo tendono a cedere.

Superbes gants, belle finition avec ces coutures rouges magnifiques, très confortables : pas de coutures gênantes pourtant à l'intérieur. Très souples, fins, un beau produit. J'ai pris une taille L, je vais commander une M pour comparer et garder celle qui me va le mieux.PS : Ils sont tactiles.

I liked the product sizing was perfect as i knew they stretch with time so i bought a size down now it really fits like a glove, quality though is okay stitching okay but the perforated holes punched in the glove could be better as some holes were not clean punched other than that im happy

Sehr Teuer/ Passt gut nur für den Daumen etwas eng geschnitten.Qualität ist ok.Leider reibt sich das Leder von innen ab. Nach tragen der Handschuhe sind die Hände voller schwarzen Abriebteilchen.Schon viele Lederhandschuhe dieser Art gehabt. Aber der Preis ist nicht rechtfertigt.Ich hatte schon Handschuhe für knapp 30€ die fast noch besser waren.

Me gusta mucho el diseño, son muy bonitos y resistentes. La talla grande L es un poco justa, sobretodo en la muñeca.

Es como lo describen, se ha ajustado perfectamente y el cosido es correcto, con el hilo rojo le dé más aspecto deportivoLo utilizo para conduccion deportiva en pista carreras así las manos no sudan tanto en el volante
