Original review: I don’t know, I guess I was one of the few who got the flatten version. I was expecting it to look thick and be 3in but it’s flat and about 1 inch thick with 2 huge creases with are about 3in. I don’t even want to put it on my bed because I am pretty upset and was really looking forward to have such a plush mattress topper. I’d love to be sent a new one that is the right product like some of you in the reviews.Updated review: So after posting about my problem was messaged by the seller and they refunded me up to half off which was fantastic and after about a week the mattress topper creases were gone! I am soooo happy with putting the topper on my mattress. I was so sad when I gave it a day and the creases didn't flatten but it just needed more time! The comfort is amazing and as soon as I get into my bed every night, I just melt into it!

Edit: Lauraland's customer service is excellent, so I'm elevating this review to 4 stars. Without any action on my part, the company responded to this review and sent a new mattress topper. I've now spent just two nights on it, but so far so good. I will update this review again when I have more experience with the replacement mattress topper. But still... this is a company that impressed me with its customer service.Edit after a couple weeks on the replacement Lauraland mattress topper: This new topper still indents a bit after three weeks, but not nearly as much as the first one after only two weeks. We will keep using it, and I will update this review with any further findings.I'm still impressed that the company reached out to me after reading my initial review -- that is a company that cares about its customers.Original review:We got a new mattress in 2017 that was just a little harder than what I like. I had good memories of a mattress topper that we got a few years ago for a different bed, transforming that bed from just okay to cushiony comfortable. So I convinced my wife that we needed a topper for this new mattress, despite the fact that it already had a pillow top -- it just wasn't quite as soft as I like.We got this Lauraland topper for our king mattress. Despite being big enough for a king mattress, the Lauraland topper came in a surprisingly small and lightweight box. I expected it to be much heavier. We spread the topper out for a few days to vent off any manufacturing gasses -- I never did smell anything, but my wife detected some of that "new foam" odor. After three or four days, all the smell was gone and we laid the topper out on our king bed. The topper uses corner straps to hold itself to the mattress (see photo), and the underside of the topper has a non-slip coating.Laying it out on our already thick mattress makes for an unbelievably thick stack of cushiony material, which made finding suitable fitted sheets more difficult. (We found them eventually, however.) My first impression of the Lauraland topper was that it was just the slightest bit softer than the mattress below it. We put it on the bed in mid-March, so it was still cold and wintry here. The Lauraland topper is good from a heat standpoint in the winter, but I have not yet experienced it in the summer when we keep the room warmer. I will update this review with my summer opinion in a few months.What did happen within two weeks of using the Lauraland topper is that it developed a depression where I lay. I am not large or heavy -- in fact, my BMI is around 21.5 -- so I have to think that virtually anyone's weight will cause a depression to form in the foam. The depression is not a show-stopper for me, but it does tell me that the foam is not particularly sturdy. If you do not like sleeping in an obvious depression, then pick a different mattress topper.Overall, the Lauraland topper is not quite as soft as I like, and definitely not as durable (resistant to a depression) as I like. It was inexpensive, so perhaps this is a case of getting what you pay for.I will update this when I have thoughts on the Lauraland topper's heat retention during the summer.

I was looking for a dense topper to put over two older twin x-long mattresses on a kingsize bed frame. I found this product to be of medium density (not soft nor hard), very supportive of pressure points in the body, and extremely comfortable to sleep on. There was no problem rolling over through the night and I did not notice that this product made me feel warmer or cooler as I slept. The covering over the foam is a very nice fabric and the corner straps kept the mattress pad in place. It is, however, fairly heavy and would not be something a person would move on and off a bed often. I let it decompress for a couple of hours before making the bed and noticed no aroma at all at any time. Would highly recommend.

I don't even know where to begin. I was looking forward to having this topper on my bed and now that I have it I don't want to sleep in my bed anymore! This causes pain in my back and sides ( depending how I'm laying), pain that I never felt before, I manage to get 2 to 3 hours of sleep now. I've had it for a week now and am utterly disappointed, it has raving reviews but I'm not sure how truthful they are. The things that I like about this topper is the cover itself and the straps that hold it in place, the mattress is horrible, I weigh in at 170 lbs and sink into the mattress to the point that it becomes completely flat so I sleep in a divot all night long. It only takes a minute or two to flatten from the time I lay down. This causes so much pain that I would rather sleep on the couch! My wife weighs in between 100-110 lbs and she has the same issues with the topper. She too sinks into it and can't sleep. What a huge waste of money! I bought this to replace an older topper that didn't fit my king size bed because it was queen size, however I am going to put it back on because it did not cause me or my wife any discomfort and pain. This is not comfortable at all!

The media could not be loaded.  It took days to "grow" was very close to sending product back. It finally grew but around the edges never got quite as fluff. It is pretty comfortable a bit more on the softer side (I prefer firmer). Nice for price though

I really wanted to hate this at first…left it flat overnight and nothing happened. You have to take it out of the cover in a place that is fairly warm, in my case, the back porch. Then walk around on it for a few hours, let the kids wrestle on it, whatever…it’ll expand eventually, just needs help breathing. Don’t waste your time trying to use a hair dryer like some peopleThis relieved so much pain caused by our new mattress that we are stuck with. Also stopped night sweating. Now we have trouble getting out of bed, always miss breakfast, and suffer from lack of motivation.It does sometimes feel like you are in a hole since it lifts your legs more than your body, and takes some effort to roll out of bed. The thinner one may help that

This is a great product, my husband and I love how soft and comfortable our bed is with this topper! The only thing negative I have to say about this, is that it is constantly sliding off of our mattress. The straps really don’t keep it in place.
