MSD82568 Ignition Coils Red, 8-Pack

I have used MSD products in several vehicles and have never been disappointed. These were no exception. I recently installed these in my 04 Ram 1500 along with Autolite Iridium Spark Plugs. Acceleration is much smoother and quicker. Throttle response also improved. I think I got about 15 to 20% better fuel economy as well. The spark plugs were going bad which is why I replaced them and went ahead and did these as well, so I'm basing the fuel economy on where it was before the plugs began going bad. I would not recommend standard copper core plugs with these or any performance coil though. Go platinum at least.

The coils that I put on my 2005 1500, 4x4, short box, reg. cab, 5.7, 142K m. were the last performance mod to the truck before going to the dyno tuner. The truck idles and runs perfect. Pulled 265 rw hp @ 6000' 90 degree day 15% humidity. I'm sure the coils have some input into that. Very easy to install. Look good too.Tom Denver, CO

Much needed upgrade for my Hemi with 167k on original coils & wires, I have only had them in for a week and notice an increase of 1.5mpg & more power with less throttle input, i will update in a few weeks, very easy to install except for the one behind the brake booster, the set i got came in a msd box with logos on them

Just want to know why the picture shows the MSD logo on the coils and the one I got don't have that on them?

Great product with excellent shipping time... I received the item in 2 days. Install on my 03 Ram hemi was easy and throttle response improved drastically when installed. I'd highly recommend this product to anyone looking at replacing the original coils.

The coils that I sent were a completely different product from what is advertised. I contacted MSD directly and they confirmed that the bright gloss red with no logo are a cheap imitation of their product. I am in the process of returning these, and from now on will purchase things for my truck strictly from Jegs or Summit. Hard to believe that Amazon is allowing this to happen.

These are the real deal. Truck idles smoother and has slightly increased throttle response. They are genuine MSD although they do not say it on the coil like the picture shows.

I dont think I really gained in HP or MPG, but the throttle response is excellent and engine seems extremely happy with the spark! Easily install and great modification.
