Excellent replacement fan motor
After over 17 years of use, the fan motor in our condenser finally gave up the ghost. My wife actually figured it out while I was at work. She had done a Google search and found that the fan was not spinning when the A/C was turned on.When I got home I opened up the unit to see the fan, to get the numbers off the motor, while it was open, we sprayed some silicone lube into the bearing area, which is what was going. How could I tell, when spinning the fan by hand you could feel how rough the bearing where.I am not an electrician or a A/C technician, but please before you do any work on an appliance that runs on 220Volts please turn off the power at the breaker, in addition please keep your screwdriver or wrenches away from the capacitor, which is located near the wire ends of the fan need to be disconnected and re-connected. Why, Capacitors hold onto power long after the power has been turned off and contain enough power that it could ruin your day.We ordered this fan from Amazon and it arrived very quickly (we were able to get the broken fan to limp along for those few days so we would have A/C).My 17 year old daughter is going to school to be an aerospace engineer, so she wants to be able to fix things and volunteers for every home repair. So she replaced the fan, with my guidance, although I did the part where the wires connected to the power box on the side of the condenser. She did an amazing job.The fan is doing great! It's been running for over a month and there have been zero issues. One suggestion, invest in new motor mount nuts. In my case after all these years the originals had rusted and one sheared off when removing it from the old motor.I would certainly buy another motor or any other part from this seller. A+++

Perfect fit with extremely fast shipping
I ordered this motor for my heat pump condenser after a lot of searching for the right product. I ordered this yesterday afternoon, and it was on my porch this morning. It is a quality unit, even though it is Chinese (and made by a company called US Motor). It was a perfect fit, and the wires were sufficiently long and of the proper colors. Many of the replacement motors I found have different wire colors than OEM. It is installed and working well less than 24 hours after I ordered it. I contacted the company to get the part number for a capacitor for the same unit, and they responded quickly and accurately. This has been one of the smoothest Amazon transactions ever.

Exact replacement part
Worked perfectly. AC company wanted $900 to replace burned out motor. It took 15 minutes to replace it with this one and that included taking the cover off of the AC unit. Easy Peasy. I just saved $750.

**PULL OUT YOUR AC DISCONNECT BAR(s) THEN SHORT YOUR CAPACITOR(s)**I took off the grill holding the fan motor, flipped over the fan and grill as one unit, clipped the Black, Red and Yellow lines coming out of my factory Emerson Motor. Tape measure the bottom of the grill to any point on the blade, i used the tip of the very top, which was seven inches, THEN undo the square retaining bolt which friction holds the fan onto the shaft of the engine, allowing you to remove the fan. 4 nuts removed, and the old motor is now off the grill, re-install Fan onto Grill, taking care to set the height back where you measured previously then tighten the bolt on the fan to secure the assembly to the shaft. ,if you had any plastic tubing your wires went through, now's the time to also feed the wires through. At this point, you'll remember you forgot to take the big cover off the area where the AC Capacitor and other bits of wire sit on your AC unit. With the cover off, place an electrically insulated screw driver near the 'poles' of the capacitor, and "Short" them by lightly making contact with each pole, and a neighbor pole. After the fireworks, resume pulling the wires back into the raceways, wireholders, tubes or whatever cable management is applicable to your install, bringing the three wires out into area where the capacitors are. Remove formerly clipped wires, and replace one for one. Black from the fuseable link thing the black wire was slipped onto, Yellow to Red in my case(capacitor) and The Muddy brown red color to ) other side of the capacitor. Once wires are secure, and managed with zip ties, replace the cover, re-install the AC Disconnect, and test the system.for my particular AC unit, i needed 8mm socket for all 8 bolts holding the fan grill, and side cover, and an 8mm wrench to remove the 4 nuts holding the Fan together. Adjustable wrench to remove the square bolt which attaches the fan to the motor shank.First time I've ever repaired an AC system. Couldn't have been easier.
