I have two similar baking mats and I love them! They save so much money compared to using parchment paper for almost everything. I have used the mats for baking cookies, pastries, and homemade breadsticks. You can even use them to roll out dough. In some cases you do not have to flour the mat. This mat is pretty much stain resistant unless you do something like cover it with butter on both sides and bake for long periods (my experiment with a gluten free croissant recipe that I used a homemade phyllo dough that contained too much butter which leaked everywhere).I didn't notice that it was supposed to arrive in a box. That was a nice bonus and would be perfect for gift giving. The box states that it is FDA approved. I am so glad that they stated this because so many times I am tempted on purchasing a cheaper version directly from China, but who knows what material may use.I definitely recommend this product.

Silicone baking mats are highly essential to those households that enjoy baking. For years they were only found in professional kitchens, but producers have made them more widely available. In comparison to the classical Silpats that I have used, these also provide the same level of non-stick to the baked goods at a cheaper price. I would skip over some of the more expensive versions of silicone mats as they are made from the exact same material. After using these for 6 months, all of my cookies, scones, gallettes, etc. have come out well with no problems of sticking to the pan.

FOR DOG LOVERS
I do not do a lot of baking but I often bake chicken in the oven. When I take it out of the oven, I pour the fat and juice from the chicken into a container then add it to my 2 dogs food. They are in dog heaven when I do this. In the past, I would bake this on a metal cookie sheet and thus get only 50% of the fat/juice because the other 50% was stuck to the cookie sheet. Today, I baked the chicken on this silicone mat on top of the cookie sheet. Wow, my dogs will be in dog heaven for many days. I got at least 98% of the fat/juice into the container.Along with this, of course, the clean up was so easy. I am sold. Love this mat. So do my dogs!! :)

I don't cook or bake very much but I got it for my wife who loves all that kind of stuff. I admit I like to eat all the great stuff she prepares. I know that sound a bit neanderthal, but hey - that's how it is. Back to the mat - I wanted her to write this review but she said doing the baking was where she drew the line. She said the baking mat worked great - her cookies didn't stick at all. She had never used a baking mat before and liked it very well. There were other details which I fail to recall.

I should have bought 2
I have 2 very old (10 years) silicone baking mats. I was very happy when I received my new baking mat today. It was nicely packaged. The box had all kinds of good information about the matt on it. Also, there was a excellent sheet with instructions about how to take care of the matt, about odd things that you may notice with the matt, and even cooking suggestions and receipts.Of course, the best part is using the matt. I promptly made some baked vegies. The vegies came off the matt like it had not even been used. I just wiped the matt off (looked like I did not even need to wash it, but I did). The wipe clean part is nice since I can use it again, right away, to bake another batch of vegies. I really should have bought 2 mats.Sounds like the seller (Love Your Kitchen) loves to cook and loves her kitchen. It will be fun to follow what she is doing on their site.

I used the mat to make cheddar biscuits this evening (Red Lobster box mix). They turned out great! They were evenly brown all over (even the bottom), but not burnt. Despite the cheese and gooeyness of the dough, they did not stick to the mat, but slid off with no effort. Yesterday, I baked frozen fish filets. I usually have a problem with them sticking to my foil and have to use a lot of cooking spray. The mat was great! No sticking happened and no need for spray or oil! Yay! So far, the mat seems like a great product and one I will use in the future, especially with things that tend to adhere to cooking surfaces. I am sure it will make my holiday baking easier, too, as my family consumes lots of cookies!

I love these!!!
I love these mats!! I bought 2 for when I bake or roast things in the oven. They have immediately been put to use and are awesome. Now I don't have to buy parchment paper over and over again. Win-win!!!

Awesome product.
Awesome product. I love cooking and baking. I hate doing dishes. Food cooked very well. Clean up was a breeze. This will definitely get a lot of use in my kitchen.
