I bought this Bible for a friend who reads every morning and writes inspirational, scriptural messages on social media and he really likes it. I personally have this version of the Bible in a much larger form but same text. For over forty years I have been reading messages and scriptures from Living Stream Ministries even though I don't attend their church. I go to a non denominational Baptist based church, but LS is non denominational, too. This Bible is the product of decades of language studies to get the original words of the Bible as accurately translated as possible. In addition, there are footnotes from Witness Lee's Life Studies included so that you can relate verses together throughout the Bible. For me it has been a very helpful tool in understanding the Bible. There is no cult. Nobody is going to reach out to you. This is purely the Word of Gid.

The Bible is opened up! The helps in this version, especially the outlines and footnotes, serve to open up the word of God as never before. It is a compilation of truths recovered throughout the centuries since the dark ages, and including many things known by the early church fathers. The printed word is given to us to convey the truth to us, the truth that is Jesus Christ Himself. He is the Word! -- the definition, explanation, and expression of God. And our dear brother Witness Lee was faithful to the Lord, laboring diligently through his whole life, to bring forth the riches from the deep mine of the word of God. He helped me to know my human spirit that is one with the Spirit of God! And now by my mingled spirit, I can assimilate the life of God in His word. I now know the mystery of God, Christ, and the mystery of Christ, the church!I was in an Old Testament Bible class back in 1978. For my big paper for that class, I was studying propitiation and atonement. I got myself "lost in the woods" trying to dig out the truth related to this subject. I'm sure my paper made very little sense at all. But when I read the footnotes in this version, this matter became crystal clear! (Romans 3:25, footnote). This is just one example, there are so many other instances of life and light and truth touching me when reading this ministry that opens up the Word of God. I am so thankful to the Lord for this version, and highly recommend it to anyone who loves the Lord and is seeking for truth.

I adore the written full text, translation & notes of the printed version. I was so Leary, however, to purchase the e-book because of lack of information. Forget the "Sample" download! It is built on a malfunction that takes every gesture to "Jeremiah 15". It postponed my buying the e-book for a long time. I finally bit the bullet and cannot express how, (after practice in maneuvering the gestures & remembering what I've done), extremely pleased with the e-book. It works perfectly & is so convenient. This is THE bible everyone has always dreamed of! The doctrine & translation are exquisite & the notes so eloquent & vitally informative, with Recovery Bibles own unique references as good as the NASB. What a value! It's all perfect & smooth!

The Bible is the best book, and this is by far the best Bible I've ever seen. The text of the Bible is faithfully translated from the original languages (the Old Testament from Hebrew and the New Testament from Greek) so that there is nothing "lost in translation". Of course there are many excellent translations, but this is the most faithful I've found. In addition to the text of the Bible there are "helps" that are remarkable. The outlines let you see into the structure of each book, seeing God's purpose in each book. The explanatory footnotes are simply remarkable: they unlock the riches in the Word. And the cross references are the best I've ever found. If you like a verse, you can find sister verses and parallel verses that allow you to see deeper into God's heart of love for you.Great, great book. I wish everyone could read this Bible with their heart open to the Lord; it will change your life.

I have most of the translations of the Bible and consider the Recovery Version top tier and one of the best. There is no doctrinal slant to the translation, but accurately reflects the Greek and Hebrew texts. The footnotes are marvelous and point us to Christ in both the New and Old Testaments.

The best study Bible one can ever find. Its translation is very accurate, and very helpful footnotes along with cross references.

This is my bible. I love the footnotes. I read it with my husband and son 1 chapter a night without the footnotes. We leave the footnotes for private studying or enjoying. I am really excited for the Spanish version in Kindle format because English is not my first language.I still bought it in English in Isilo and also in Kindle. But I find Kindle a more friendly app for it. It is easier to highlight. I just really need it in Spanish.I also read the Holy Word for Morning Revival in Kindle but It's not easy to swipe from one book to go to the verses and come back to keep reading in the other book again. I hope Kindle finds a easier way for this.Anyway I am truly happy and satisfied with this bible version.
