Search Committees: A Comprehensive Guide to Successful Faculty, Staff, and Administrative Searches 2nd Edition

I've not read the whole thing, but after a 10 minute skim of my boss's copy I decided I had to have one. Lots of great information, combined with real-life scenarios and "tricks of the trade." This has me excited to serve on another search committee. This is steered toward higher education (in which I work), but I think that good information for any industry could be taken from this text.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who is the member of a search committee or is the chairperson. There are excellent worksheets, forms, and insightful information that will help you with a search for the right candidate.I am using it now and it is helping tremendously.
