My dog at age approximately 15, the Shih tzu, was diagnosed with early kidney disease to our surprise and shock after having fed him his entire life a human grade diet and used constant holistic care as our protocol in his care. He received this diagnosis directly following a rabies vaccine I was bullied into giving him at the veterinary office, which proved to have damaged his kidneys. We were heartbroken. I began to study voraciously on how to deal with this problem and one of the solutions I found was this amenavast. It has made a huge difference and he is living a normal life. It must be used consistently because one day missed sets him back. I also found I had to use 1000 mg per day not the cat dosage. The smaller dosage was not effective. In addition to this I kept him on a treatment to prevent urinary tract infections which included hydrangea, Stone breaker, and frequent Goldenseal tincture and a few other cleansing herbs. I also give him in a syringe each day The herbal tea and some charcoal carbon detoxifier. His diet was changed to mostly pressure cooked chicken and some winter squash and sometimes a little barley. I keep plenty of calcium in him through eggshells around and also using Marine calcium supplement. He is a year past the diagnosis and doing very well but it requires commitment to do this. If you will stick with this program your dog can recover. I'm thankful for this product but it must be used generously and consistently. Keep your dogs water immaculately clean. Make sure he is hydrated and his food very wet.

Really, a life saver. Using on time and properly they delivers. Begins ( in medium or small dogs) with the 300mg (the ones with the CAT in the bottle) or if the condition if acute use half of the 1000mg pills(the one with the DOG on the bottle). The large dogs needs the 1000mg. Using this early, will save you a lot of heartache... Trust me. My Doggy Daughter have 18 years and I'm grateful every day.

This product works really well, it was prescribed to my dog, who was suffering with kidney stones, this together with antibiotics saved his life. He is on it for the rest of his life time, I'm glad I found it here the price is great. Value for money.

My dog was diagnosed with stage 3 kidney disease in February. I have been using this product on her food twice a day for the last few months. Upon recheck of her kidney numbers the vet was amazed at how well she was and how low the number came down. she is currently 2 points shy of normal. YAY!

This product has improved my dogs life

Basically I can’t really review the product fairly because I read the reviews here and bought it in a last-ditch desperate effort to save my baby’s life, but it was already too late. She was a beautiful little 16-year-old tuxedo tabby with end-stage acute kidney failure. She was past the point of no-return by the time I ordered this and ended up passing away the next night after starting her on it. I wish I’d known about it sooner, maybe with more time it could’ve had a chance to actually do something, but it’s not a magic cure. Just thought buyers should know that. For those with picky eaters: (another thing I wish I’d tried much sooner) I opened the capsule and mixed the Aminacare with her chitosin phosphate binder (I was using Trukitin) and Rx Vitamins Rx Renal Feline in 3ml of water and gave it to her by syringe. Much easier than trying to get her to swallow a pill.

My beagle according to the vet should not live more than 2 months for her kidney failure. Vet gave me this as supplements to try. After 2 months, she is back to herself. Eating normally and is almost quite active again. I would say her condition improved 90%. A must if your dog as kidney issue.
