Dominican Republic 1:400,000 & Haiti 1:350,000 Travel Map (International Travel Maps)

We hung this up on our wall as a conversation piece. Very clear, nice colors. It sort of has a waxy or plastic-y texture that adds to the sturdiness, but it still has a paper quality that makes it nice to touch.

I am trying to help the Head to Head School near Jacmel in Haiti which had no map of Haiti. I liked your map of Haiti so much I bought 5 more copies to give to the Head to Head School and also other nearby schools in that area.I like the captions or notes of places of special historical interest. I would love to have a map that indicated the land uses (present, and historic.)It would be GREAT to have a map which indicated where the NGO's working in Haiti are located and - in what way. Really, it's a map. I like everything about the map except for one minor detail that will affect almost no one. The maps are different ratios. I wanted to cut them out and put the together to make a display. Long story. But they don't really match up due to being different sizes. Beside that, it is great.

I did not buy this map for a conventional reason, so my opinion may be irrelevant to you. I bought it to glue onto a journal cover. If anyone is looking to buy this map to make something similar, the material is difficult to stick to surfaces with adhesives. However, it is beautiful.I am not sure how it would be for legitimate use!

I rarely depend 100% on a GPS, especially in developing countries, so I chose this map as a backup and reference. The scale is appropriate and the level of detail useful, even more so on the DR side as their infrastructure is less of a challenge. If you need a paper map for Hispaniola, this is it.

I posted it on a bulletin board to publicize a Haiti schools campaign. It workedwell except that the border between Haiti and the Dominican Republic isdifficult to see.

Good map of Haiti but lack detail that I needed for areas outside PAP.

Carte très très moyenne : les routes sont mal tracées, absence des forêts, la grosseur du nom des villes ne correspond pas à leur importance, peu lisible, etc. Assez déçu.

Carte bien présentée, résistante à l'eau, mais franchement incomplète... Il manque par exemple l'autopista Juan Paulo II qui relie la côte sud à la péninsule de Samana, pourtant inaugurée en 2008, ou encore la route 133 qui relie l'aéroport El Catey à Las Terrenas. La carte est pourtant estampillée 2014... Cette carte ne me servira pas à grand chose une fois sur place... Dommage, je regrette mon achat!
