I just loves these place mats. They are Fancy and Lacy - perfect for serving tea to friends or hosting a fancy lunch. I won't dare consider machine washing - the material seems like it would shrink. I would recommend spot treating or dry cleaning but haven't tried either yet since my guests were super neat.
