UPDATE: I've increased the star rating of this product from 4/5 to 5/5 for the simple fact that SPN Performance (the seller of this product) has fantastic customer service. While my review was mostly positive (you can read it below, I have not changed it), I did note an issue with how tight the bolts came from the factory. SPN not only emailed me, but called me, to discuss the problem in depth and to let me know that they will be passing this information on to their manufacture to try and correct the problem in the future. The gentleman I spoke to from SPN was very professional and genuinely interested in the performance of his product. You cannot say that for many companies out there. Good on SPN for having great customer service. These mounts are pretty good, not great, but good. They will most certainly get the job done. What I really liked about them is how solid they feel. No flimsy parts. You will feel secure when you hang these. What I did not like is how difficult it was to get the monitor bracket off. They tightened the bolt way too tight. I needed to get a socket wrench and a piece of cloth for my hands (to prevent the allen wrench from digging in to my hand) in order to take it off. Also, the mount is not as flush against the wall as it could be. What I really liked about the mount is everything that it came with. Cheetah packed its box with more then they needed to. They include a level, HDMI cable, Velcro cable ties, and a little LED flash light. Lastly, if you cannot mount this in studs, make sure to get some real nice hollow wall anchors. The stuff included is really only for stud mounting.

Ordered this to mount a monitor in my work room. The room had easy to find studs, and the monitor wasn't huge. The mount came with easy to read instructions, an extremely solid mount, plenty of mounting hardware, and a couple of great accessories. The mount itself is outstanding. Very solid construction, great dimensionality, and really easy to understand how to mount it. THe instructions were clear, on a poster-sized paper, and very easy to follow. The mounting hardware was more than adequate - big lag screws, drywall anchors if you need them, and two sets of screws for different VESA mount configurations. The accessories are nice. The HDMI cable is well-made and solid, which is handy if you plan on moving the mount frequently (I do, depending on where I'm working in the shop). There's also a set of hook-and-loop cable ties to keep everything up and out of the way, a cleaning cloth, and an allen wrench to keep the ball-joint on the back tight.

Great bang for the buck. Very solid mount. The only part I am not totally pleased with is that there is a little play in the part where the ball mounts to the piece that you bolt to the arm. The play is in the direction of rotation in either direction. It makes it a little more challenging to level the top of the monitor, and if bumped it will shake a bit. This leads me to the main reason I wrote this review. I think there should be a very bold warning to make sure that the center screw in the piece that connects to the monitor is tight. This is the screw that is not accessible once the monitor is attached. It secures the monitor mount to the metal piece that connects to the arm. I did not even think to check it, it didn't stand out to me at all. Then when I mounted the monitor to the arm, it seemed very wobbly and unstable. I could not understand how it could be so sketchy. So I went back and looked at pictures of the mount, and saw the center screw, which I realized must be for holding the ball to the metal piece that mounts to the arm. I unscrewed the mount from the monitor, and found center screw was very loose. I feel like I am very lucky that the monitor did not come crashing down. After tightening it up and remounting the monitor, it is much more stable, but still has the bit of play I mentioned above. I am planning on writing the seller to find out if that bit of play is normal, or if maybe there was some wear from the movement up until the screw was tightened, or maybe I just got a sub-par part. I'm also considering taking it back apart, and adding some loctite to the threads. It is such a crucial mounting point, I'd hate to risk it coming loose. It is sketchy that it shipped this way. The screw should have been tight, or left out altogether. Please be warned, and check yours before mounting. You might even want to disconnect the monitor and check it even if already mounted, just to be safe. EDIT: The seller was very helpful, and sent out a new unit. The new unit does not have the same issue, everything is perfect. I am very pleased with both the mount and the seller. The price to quality ratio easily earns this product 5 stars, but I am going to leave it at 4 because of the initial experience (based on the unit I received, not the seller...seller is A+).

I honestly don't know how this can be sold for less than $11 and still be profitable, but it is a great deal for the price. It's definitely not worth the "list price" of $60 due to the flaws noted in other reviews (stiff movement, plastic pieces don't fit in the metal bars very well). But for a cheap mount, it feels very secure and does work as expected. I purchased this for my 22" computer LCD monitor. A couple notes - make sure you have a solid stud behind the wall where you want to mount this. The mount is heavy, and if you swing your screen out, that is quite a bit of weight pulling down. I used the included hardware and hit right in the middle of a 2x4 behind my wall and it is very solid. The included HDMI cable is a great (search Amazon for it alone - over 1/2 this price and over 2,000 reviews with 4.5 average star rating). The level is pretty junky, so test it out on something first before believing in when setting this up. Mine was true, but I could see some of them being off. Overall, I'll definitely check out this brand first when I need to buy another mount as I feel this was a great value.

The package is great quality and great value. It comes with a level, HDMI cable, proper screws and cement anchors, velcro wire straps, and a key-chain light. For the price it's a steal. As for the arm, It's perfectly sturdy and works as you'd expect. Zero wobbles. The VESA plate didn't fit my recessed monitor back (Dell 24'') without modification with a dremel, but customer service was very helpful! They made sure it was working, and still gave a full refund along with another mounting arm. Don't hesitate to pick one up!

Muy robusto, orientable y manejable. Además puedes inclinar la tele con la rótula que trae, aflojando un poco previamente los tornillos del soporte si la tele no pesa mucho, ya que si no es imposible mover la rótula y casi arrancas la tele del soporte. Da ich die Halterung nur für einen kleineren 19" Monitor gebraucht habe, habe ich gar nicht nach einer monumentalen Aufhängung gesucht. Was ich aber in diesem Paket bekommen habe ist viel mehr als ich erwartet hatte und auf jedem Fall das Geld wert. Die Halterung kommt in einer schönen Box in der alle Teile gut untergebracht sind. Man bekommt alles geliefert was benötigt wird um die Halterung verwenden zu können, sogar die Wasserwaage ist für diese Zwecke gut benutzbar. Ein Satz Schrauben, ein kleines Staubtüchlein und sogar ein HDMI Kabel sind dabei. Toll! Die Montage war bei mir problemlos, ich habe allerdings einen Holzbalken, daher kein Bohren, keine Dübel oder ähnliches. Die Holzschrauben waren natürlich nicht dabei, das wäre auch etwas viel verlangt. Die VESA Löcher passen bei meinem Monitor punktgenau, die Schrauben auch. Der Arm ist in der Benutzung sehr stabil und hält meinen Monitor ohne das kleinste Wackeln. Er läst sich dadurch sehr exakt positionieren (und sogar Pivot ist dabei). Ich habe das Gefühl das der Arm auch noch deutlich mehr Gewicht sehr gut halten könnte. Seit kurzen habe ich sogar das HDMI-Kabel in Benutzung (PS3) und es funktioniert einwandfrei. Alles in allem ein super Paket mit guten Komponenten zu einem mehr als guten Preis.

Le produit contient : - le support (encore heureux) - un petit niveau à bulle aimanté d'une quinzaine de centimètres - un câble HDMI tressé de 3m étonnamment léger et de bonne qualité - 1 sachet avec 2 jeux de 4 de vis, des fines et des plus épaisses (avec les rondelles à dent qui conviennent pour chaque types de vis) pour viser l'écran au support - 1 sachet avec 2 chevilles, 2 vis et 2 rondelles pour fixer le support au mur et également 2 clés allen de taille différentes - 3 scratch pour les cables - un chiffon pour l'écran - une petite lumière à LED très puissante en cadeau Le support en lui même est un peu rigide mais cela ne me dérange pas. On peut toujours desserer les vis du bras pour avoir plus de souplesse. Rien à dire sur l'inclinaison ou l'extension du support, c'est parfait. Je recommande vivement ce produit pour son prix et sa qualité. Si vous chercher un support murale pas cher et de bonne qualité, vous êtes tombé sur le bon produit. J'en commanderai d'autres pour mes autres ordinateurs sans hésiter.

Installation took 20 minutes but that was me trying to find the stud in the wall. The item is very sturdy and works well with the bracket I bought. Very good deal and well worth the purchase to gain a little more desk space
