Two people find themselves in the midst of the worst tragedy imaginable..the family is diagnosed with AIDS. No couple ever tried harder to have children than Roxy and Vinnie Ventola. For four years they endured test, injections and even a miscarriage. Then, Miranda, a beautiful baby girl, is born. Their daughter becomes the center of their lives. They balance their successful TV writing careers with the joy of spoiling her, but suddenly, Miranda becomes ill. While in the hospital, both of Mirandas lungs collapse. Roxy and Vinnie soon learn the truth - Miranda has AIDS. They, too have AIDS from the transfusion Roxy received after her miscarriage.The Ventolas begin their battle against this killer disease. The determination that brought Miranda to them now gives them the courage to fight, and there is more love between them than anyone will ever know.

Poignant but a one-timer
This story of a family devastated by AIDS is an impressive production, full of philosophy and pathos. I watched it once. I will pass it on because it was hard to make it all the way through the plot. The story is larger than film can allow, and most normal people feel an intense downer after the screen credits start to roll. In these troubled times, I would only recommend this film as a teaching tool because it certainly is not a film you want to feature on a movie night with friends and neighbors. Extraordinary acting and editing. Just hang onto your perspective as you view it.

Heart Braeking Movie.
I had a Very hard time finding this movie. I first watched this movie on Thanksgiving Night in 1994. This is the only movie I have ever watched that made the Adult Men in my Family cry. The price was great, although I probably would have paid more for this movie. The disc played well too.

I saw this movie on TV when it first came out and have been looking for it for years...it's a real tearjerker I thought the acting was excellent. Now I've finally found a DVD of it (couldn't remember the name of the movie) and am purchasing it...that's how much I love it. ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES!

This one of the most wonderful movie I have watched and I cried so hard when I watched this movie I watched three times and I still cry every time I would recommend this movie to everyone that loves Drama and true stories. The shipping and handling was excellent this movie deserves five stars.
