SweetGourmet Wasabi Coated Peanuts, 2 Lb

I love the Wasabi flavor. I have been looking for these for quite sometime and finally found them relatively cheap, comparatively. If you don't like Wasabi you WON'T like these. The heat intensifies if you suck on them a bit before crunching. Then there's a nice sweet taste at the end. You can control the heat with how much you suck on them or not. These are the best nuts my mouth has ever experienced!

The flavor was great! Seems like these have been going up in price but have been hard to find. Will purchase again.

Nice and crunchy, good peanut flavor, but too mild for my taste. Not enough Wasabi. Therefore only 4 stars from me.

Disclaimer: I am not a fussy eater. Neither am I a frequent reviewer. But I had to say something.These wasabi peanuts are BY FAR the worst I've ever eaten. I ate some and then threw the rest out.First, the peanuts, which should be the primary ingredient, are burned, awful, tiny little things barely 1/4" in diameter that must have been thrown out by a reputable nut company and wound up here. Not even edible. To list peanuts first on the ingredient list (which means highest to lowest content) is a bold-faced lie.Next, the majority of the green ball is rice cracker flour and corn powder; somehow bland and salty at the same time.Lastly, there is no wasabi, which is Japanese horseradish. It is mustard powder.The only positive thing I can say is they are very crunchy.Do yourself a favor and pass these by. Yuck!

soooo good! if anyone likes the wasabi peas....the peanuts are even better. mine came in a re-sealable bag which was great. saved me having to transfer contents of open bag to another container. good quantity for the price as well. the only negative is I couldn't stop eating them!

I had delicious wasabi peanuts a long time ago. These are not as good as I remember. As another reviewer mentioned, the quarter-inch rice coating on these is rock-hard. It doesn't get any softer if you suck on them a couple seconds. A couple seconds of sucking is painful! The (wasabi and salt) force is strong in these, but it doesn't exactly taste high-quality.The coating almost looks like styrofoam, which disturbed me until I read the ingredients on here. It would be nice if Sweet Gourmet included a slip listing ingredients. Also, as mentioned, shipping is high, but other vendors are even more. The price was fine, but I'd like a thinner, more appetizing coating, better wasabi, and information included on ingredients and quality of ingredients.

Love these. I think I will mix them in a bowl of M&M’s and share with friends.
