Outstanding Performance and Easy Setup!
I recently purchased the Five Star Antenna, and I’m beyond impressed! The setup was a breeze—no complicated instructions or extra tools needed. Within minutes, I had it mounted and scanning for channels. The reception is crystal clear, pulling in all major local networks in HD without any pixelation or dropouts. I was surprised at how many channels it picked up, including some I didn’t even know were available in my area. The build quality feels sturdy, and the sleek design doesn’t look out of place on my roof. Compared to my old antenna, the Five Star delivers far better range and reliability, even in bad weather. Plus, no monthly fees for over-the-air channels? Yes, please! If you're looking for an affordable, high-performance antenna, this one is a winner. Highly recommend!

Better reception than I expected!
I received the antenna and saved the box. I wasn’t sure I’d like it based on some of the reviews. I’m glad I waited and tried it for myself. I first of all assembled the antenna and hooked it up inside of my house right next to the TV and I received 24 stations. Already better than the cheap antenna that that I bought locally which only received 4 stations depending on the weather. Granted that antenna was $17. So I debated if I wanted to put it in the attic or outside of the house. I watched a video from the Antenna Man who convinced me in his YouTube video that an outside would be better, so I went outside and figured out a good place to mount it on a facia board. I drilled a hole through the wall and ran the coaxial cable that came with the antenna. I added a ground to the antenna per the antenna man, and when I finally hooked up the coaxial cable to the TV and did the auto program, I was stunned to find 56 channels coming in! Some signals are broadcast in less than Hd signal, but were all a solid signal and Did not get that digital pixelation drop out. I do not have a signal amplifier on but I’m thinking about adding one in. I did add in the supplied splitter and sent signals to two other TVs. They all get excellent pictures and to my amazement, my tv in my downstairs even received some additional channels that the upstairs tv did not. I suspect that tuner is more sensitive. I’m not an expert installer. I think I need a taller pole because if I were to rotate the antenna now it may hit the roof, but with this many tv stations, I may just leave well enough alone. Incidentally, I figured out how to delete those stations I don’t want so it is almost better than having cable tv. For reference, I’m about 20 miles out of a decent sized city in Oregon. In Los Angeles, I used to get over 200 channels over the air but I watched about 10 of them. Hope this review helps you all enjoy the free tv signals that are out there. One thing I should mention is watch the guy assembling the antenna video on Amazon. The instructions are not so clear and the pieces do face certain ways. It is easy enough to put thing backwards. I had to correct some wing nuts and the two “tail feather” attachments. I had mine pointing the wrong easement I irate started assembling.

Easy to Install and works well
This product was easy to put together, easy to install (on a corner of my roof accessible from deck so no ladder). It gets all of the stations in my immediate area that are accessible. It does not reach 200 miles for sure. No storms or rain yet. Have not figured out how to make it rotate yet.

BUILT IN ROTOR A MESS AND SO IS THE AMPLIFIER
I have been trying to position the antenna now for several days and have discovered that the rotor has a mind of its own. After spending much time getting the antenna positioned for optimal signal strength I noticed later that the antenna was positioned in a different direction. As you can imagine, I lost most of my channels. I asked my wife to rotate the antenna and I was outside watching the results. When she stopped pressing the rotor remote the antenna continued to rotate. Not only did it rotate on its own it kept changing directions and stopping and starting all on its own. It was like it was possessed. I unplugged the rotor control box and will climb back on the roof and manually adjust the antenna. I also noticed that when I unplugged the rotor control unit that the picture quality of the one station that happened to still be received did not change one bit. This leads me to believe that the Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) that is claimed to be operating in the rotor control box may not even exist. I would think that removing the power to the LNA would result in some form of signal loss. This is only my guess and could be verified if I felt like opening the box, which I am not about to do. Would I recommend this product? No, absolutely not. UPDATE: Today, March 16, 2024, and now I get zero, 0, stations. The antenna is now on a 20 foot pole attached to our chimney on the ROOF and I get zero, none, nada channels. I spent quite a bit of time sitting on the roof while my wife was inside getting the TV to scan. Zero channels, I rotate the mast and she recans, again zero channels. Did this for so long I felt that I was getting sunburn. Central New Jersey in march so you get an idea how long I was on the roof. I plan on opening up the amp case and see what might be in there. Will be purchasing a different antenna because this one is useless, perhaps it could be reused as a lighting rod.

Excellent Antenna. Couldn't find a more expensive one to compete with this.
I really like this antenna. If you can get it high enough, and aimed in the right direction, it works very well. We are 60 miles from the towers and get the signals just fine. The only exception is on bad weather days. But that's the signal, not the antenna. Contrary to other reviews: Directions ARE INCLUDED in the form of a link printed on the box for a youtube installation video, also printed info inside the box. If you need anymore than that, you should not be installing anything ever. Take the short bus to happy town.

The Antenna is made for the U.S. not Australia. It doesn't work. So no point in selling this here. All we want is a power box as this is the only thing that doesn't work. However they won't sell it separately. It is erected and hard to get down. I'm trying to get a power box. I have sent emails and I can't get any help. Not happy.
