L'Oreal Paris Makeup True Match Super-Blendable Liquid Foundation, Alabaster C1, 1 Fl Oz,1 Count

I've had a difficult time finding a foundation that works well for me. I have very fair skin, which is hard to match with foundation. Also, my skin was oily, for many years, because I was not using the correct skin-care products and this foundation controlled the shine very well.Anyway, I've been using this foundation (Alabaster) for about 3 years along with the True Match blush (Baby Blossom) and concealer (Fair/Light) topped off with L'oreal's Hydra Perfecte (now Translucide) loose powder (Transluscent). This make-up looks very natural and I've had many comments on how amazing my skin is (which it really isn't).L'oreal has (somewhat) simplified the process of chosing the right shade for your skin. They've grouped their foundation shades into 3 categories: Warm, Neutral, and Cool. Once I figured out that I'm a "Cool," that narrowed down the selection to a much more manageable number. They have so many shades I'm sure that almost everyone could find a shade to match their skin. If not, I've heard of poeple combining two shades to make their own.The foundation goes on and blends well. Once it's on, you can't tell. Even when I touch my face, I only feel my skin. It doesn't feel like I'm wearing anything. Blush and eyeshadow go on smooth and stay put when applied over this foundation. It almost has a powdery finish and lasts all day. I apply it around 7:00 A.M. and most days it still looks good at 7:00 P.M without any touch-ups. There are some days when my skin is more oily than usual but this stuff usually does a good job of controlling the shine. I can't remember for sure but one bottle lasts me at least 3 months, maybe longer, with almost daily use.Another thing I love about this makeup is that it doesn't clog my poors or cause breakouts, even when I go to bed without washing my face. There are many nights when I'm too tired from work to wash before bed and I've never had any problems. Also, coverage is light but if you want or need more coverage, just add another layer to whatever areas you need to get more coverage and it builds on itself.The price with Amazon's Subscribe and Save program is the best I've seen. The biggest problem is that the shades I need aren't always available. Other than that, I have no complaints with this product and will (hopefully) be using it for years to come.

This makeup is perfect. It doesn't make lines stand out. It doesn't cake. It doesn't melt off or go away till you wash it off.It matches perfectly and looks radiant. It's not dull and it's not shiny. I love this makeup. The bottle isn't fancy and doesn't do it credit.

I bought this product online and as such had to guess at my color... this wasnt too challnging as I am all the way on the "pale" spectrum. I found it challenging to go through their colors and see a natural progression of darker, orange(r), etc and would prefer if they had a chart so I didnt have to zoom in and look to see if its a C1 or F5 etc ... I am C1 alabaster, its perfect and matches my extreme paleness perfectly! (I also bought C3 for my "tan" times or as needed for darker areas (such as arms, to cover scars, etc.).When applying the makeup I found it easy, light, and fast to dry. While also being easy to layer and build up without building too much. It does rub off a bit through the day like all makeup, but there are products you can buy to prevent this so it isnt a huge deal.All in all this is my new favorite makeup.Side note: I have extremely light colored skin (no orange tint, burn easily, very pale), its also oily, and even at 20 I still have pimples. This makeup matched my light and pale shade, worked well with my skin type, and covered what needed to be covered.

I've been using L'Oreal's Visible Lift for years, in the pale ivory color. When they changed the format to the pump bottle, their lightest color was too dark for me. In desperation, I visited the L'Oreal website, where I found a color matching page, and they suggested this brand. They suggested the Alabaster (cool) color for me, but Porcelain (warm) is lighter and a better fit. My biggest problem with this is that it doesn't cover the fine lines as well as Visible Lift did, even when used over their makeup base. Still, it's so hard to find a really light color that I will keep using this.

Excellent product. Get the one with sunscreen. Covers beautifully for a flawless finish. Great for us more mature ladies.

This is an excellent product: smooth coverage, feels light and comfortable, good price.

I think it's a foundation that blends very well into the skin and doesn’t look too obvious. The only thing I don’t like is the packaging — I don’t find it easy to apply, and the fact that it’s made of glass makes me worry about being extra careful so it won’t break.

Did they carry this product is the only one I could find I like I’ve been using it a long time
