I needed a new battery for my netbook. I was afraid I would have to pay more than the netbook was worth, so was considering just getting a new one. But I found this on Amazon, & it seemed like it would fit my computer. Luckily, it did. It seems to be working fine. Arrived pretty quickly, packaged well. No complaints. The price was good. I have had it for a couple of weeks. Haven't really tried timing it to see how long the battery holds charge, but it does hold it for an hour or so, which meets my needs.

Hi, I've had the battery for a month now and it's been working properly!Does anyone know the maximum duration of a 4800mAh Eee PC battery? My battery desktop icon shows a little more than 4 hours and I believe it should be much more as my original Asus Eee PC battery (of 1200mAh, I believe) lasted almost 4 hours. Thanks!

After returning a competitor's battery for not charging, I was a little apprehensive. But this battery arrived promptly and with a 75% charge. And it charged properly and the ASUS power meter indicator accurately reflected the battery charge and capability. It seems to be able to power the 1005HAB netbook on the order of 5-6 hours. A little hard to say because I haven't used it heavily for more than 3 hours at a time, but it still shows more than 50% of charge remaining. Pleased and relieved.

Inexpensive and twice the capacity compared to manufacturers replacement unit. Even extra bottom bumpers. Received in timely manner. Well satisfied.OK, 9 months later it's dead, dead, dead! I let it run down without charging and Lithium Ion batts die if not recharged in time. Online research reveled much I didn't know about this type of battery.

Used old battery for 3 years until it was pretty much bricked. Bought this replacement and my Asus 1005HA is a usable laptop again! Doesn't keep charge for the original 8 hours, but it has kept charge for 4.5Hrs since I got it in July! Very happy for the price and considering my computer was useless without it.

works great but it turns out i need a power cord replacement. The battery itself was neatly packaged. blah blah...the battery did what it needed to do.
