Reverb removes a significant amount of low mids from base tone, mix knob is not sensitive enough - goes from little to a lot at 7-8 o’clock, creates tinny overtones, adds a moderate amount of compression, sounds very artificial and hard to get a reverb sound that isn’t overpowering. If you want overly washed out reverb as a brief effect it would be useful, but otherwise as a basic reverb it’s not anything to write home about. This seems to be an overprice version of other clones that are available at a much more affordable price. It does look cool and is a small footprint, but I’d rather spend my money elsewhere on something a little better.

If you are looking for a great sounding reverb that will squeeze in just about anywhere on your board then look no further. I have owned Electro Harmonix, Fender, Strymon and boutique reverb pedals...this sounds every bit as good as those. I cannot wait to check out the rest of the line of products from CNZ.

This reverb does a lot for such a small unit. The shimmer setting is especially cool for a semi modulated sound. Great value.
