Epiphone Sheraton II PRO Gold Hardware, Vintage Sunburst

This has been a dream for 45 years. I played a friends Gibson hollow body when I was 16 (1978) and at the age of 61 the price is and has always been out of reach so I got a bit of a history lesson when researching the Epiphone. 1st The name has been around 150 years. 2nd Gibson bought Epiphone in 1957. 3rd Sheraton came out in 1959. After reading several good reviews and being at an affordable price, the only thing to say is Dream come true! I have been so impressed with the way it was packaged, it came a week earlier than stated and the quality is superb! Absolutely no regrets.

This guitar is so playable and sounds as good as it looks, hence all the good reviews. I had a black and gold Gretsch G5422T Electromatic Hollowbody that I sold, as I just didn't care for it, and bought this to replace it. Great decision, as this beauty is so effortless to play. You'll have to replace the strings right away as your fingers will get black playing the ones that it comes with and saw some reviews mentioning this. Throw a new set of strings on this and adjust the action to your desire and you'll be amazed, especially for the price.

Always wanted a semi hollow. Already have a Gibson Les Paul. Beautiful design, quality pickups and guitar build. Action is great. Really like the flexibility to play both acoustic rock, rock, jazz and blues.

I have an older Korean made sherarton II so I'll compare to that. The only reason I did not give this guitar 5 stars is that although it was QA stamped the neck truss rod was way too tight causing backbow and the tuners were loose. I performed a complete setup which remedied the issues. Of course sometimes setting up a guitar to personal preference is an overtime experience. The feel is slightly different than my older model and there is minor quality differences between the Korean versus newer Chinese made guitars. However, I would recommend the guitar and the new coil tap pickups are great.

I love this Guitar. It plays some awesome sounding chords. I got a case for it and then took it to Flores Music shop and had them do a set up on it. It plays really well. This was a good purchase for the money.

As shown in photo, a mount screw for one of the pickups had been pushed thru the plastic. Poor quality inspection.

would have given 5 stars however the pickup switcher is a little quirky and seems to get loose to easily..not a major issue. love the look and sound of this guitar, had to raise the bridge because it was too easy to bend the bottom e off the fretboard...

Bella con 4 B maiuscole :-) Il suono è proprio simile a quello di altre marche blasonate, con i suoi inediti pickup probucker si possono scegliere diverse combinazioni di timbro, dalla calda tipica degli humbuckers al simil telecaster! Fatta bene, ineccepibile per il prezzo. Belli e fatti bene gli inserti della tastiera, della paletta. Da verificare come di rito, forse, la tenuta delle cromature nel tempo, anche se in fondo un po' di vintage look non guasterebbe... :-D Contentissimo :-D

Hermosa sin dudas, no le pide nada a una Gibson. Todo llegó bien sin dificultades, nunca probé una sheraton a la nueva pro, pero sus pastillas son bastante geniales, ese plus de hacerlas single coil es genial y te da unos tonos hermosos, lo único que se le haría es cambiarle el nude a hueso para que sea más Impresionante, que tal de fábrica ya lo es.

La guitarra vino en perfectas condiciones. Los modelos 335 de Epiphone siempre me han gustado en especial la Casino pero esté modelo me encanta más todavía. Lo mejor fue la sensación y el sonido al tocarla...FASCINANTE.

Die Gitarre sieht super aus und lässt sehr einfach spielen. Sie einen warmen Ton, der besonders für Jazz und Blues geeignet ist. Es handelt sich um dass Epiphone Gegenstück zur Gibson ES 335. Sie ist größer als eine Les Paul oder eine Strat und auch ziemlich schwer. Ich habe sie in dem Epiphne Hardcase zehn Minuten getragen und habe gemerkt, dass ich viel Holz zum Schleppen habe. Jeder Jazz und Blues Gitarrist, der sich keine Gibson ES 335 leisten kann oder der ein Instrument für Unterwegs braucht, sollte sich dieses Instrument anschauen. Sie ist laut Epiphone hochwertiger als die normale Sheraton-II.

Superbe guitare tres bonnes finitions couleur magnifique un look au top. les micros sonnent tres bien tres facile a jouer le manche est un vrai autoroute on peut jouer du rock du hard du blues que du bonheur avec en plus un prix tres interessant un petit bijou
