- This cable has two modes. The "mode switch" is located on the back of the inline control module. Mode A is recommended for Xbox One, PS4, Nintend Switch, and PC games. B mode is recommended for making phone calls or listening to music.
- Use this cable for Astro A10 or A40 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 PS4, Nintend Switch and PC Gaming. For games we recommend mode A (see switch on the back of the inline control module). In A mode, you can mute your headset microphone or unmute your headset by pushing the mute button (front control) up or down. With the control dial you can adjust the music or chat volume.
- Mode B (on the back of the inline control module) is ideal when your Astro A40 or A10 is connected to your smartphone via a 3.5mm jack. Use the button under the inline mute to answer or hang up a call. When listening to music for Astro A10 or A40, you can use the call answer/hang button to pause or unpause your music. Mode B also activates the inline microphone.
