Awesome Ninja Throwing-Knife Set Is A Blast - Great For Throwers Of All Skill Levels!
We couldn't resist this set of 12 ninja-style throwing knives at the low price. Quality of the steel and workmanship was good; we've used these quite a bit and the points hold their sharpness pretty well. They stick quite nicely in our end-grain cedar target. Other reviewers have mentioned that the paracord-wraps come loose quickly; this is true, but we simply tucked the loose ends back in and applied some epoxy glue around the cord end where it wraps underneath against the cord on top and we've had no further problems with unraveling. We've had a lot of fun with these little knives!

Good but not great
These are not toys and can do some serious damage. Must have supervision if not an adult. My oldest son got these for his birthday and was very happy. PRO: They are sturdy and work well. CON: The cordage comes unraveling on each one. No bother, they work well without it anyway, or you can re-wrap your own micro-paracord of your own color choice if desired.CON #2. The case is garbage and the points of the knives poke right through.Still worth the money. I'd buy another set.

Good for beginners
This is a fantastic knife for people who just want to see if they like throwing knives. I never have used a throwing knife and for sure these are fun. But if you are looking for something that can be put through hell, then this is not it. These knives bent really easily with in the first 10 minutes of using them. In general they work but they need to be sharpened. They don’t stay sharp for very long. The handle is made out of Cord that is very poorly wrapped. By the first few throws the handle was already coming off. I ended up just taking it off from all of them. So if you want to buy it because unit has a cool handle. Then choose something else. But for beginners, yes, for sure buy this. It’s a great way of starting off for throwing weapons. I already want to buy more knives for throwing. Just not this one again.

Smaller than I was expecting
The pros: actually the knives are well made and are sharp, despite what some other people are saying. And the nylon case for them is top quality. And there are 12 knives in the set, which eliminates having to constantly walk back and forth to the target. The cons: they’re definitely too small. You can’t really get a half-spin throw with them and they spin so much because of their size so the only way I can get an accurate throw is by “dialing the throws in”, i.e. by just adjusting the force of the throws and not by actually figuring out how many spins they are doing. The “par accord” on mine unraveled on all the knives after not much use and the green “camo” color made them hard to find in the woods where I practice. So I finally removed all the cords and replaced them with bright orange gaffer’s tape, which is a huge improvement.Wrap up: although not really proper throwing knives they are still fun to play with. Actually I use them as a diversion to my main hobby which is juggling. And I actually do have a set of three real throwing knives, but at the moment they are buried in a box after my recent move.

Solid for throwing
I don't know how to throw knives. But I've been in my back yard every other day for a couple of weeks learning to throw these at some posts I've got set up. They stick very well, and for 20 bucks they're a great buy. I can't say for sure that they're good as far as what throwing knives are *supposed* to be, but I really like them. Also, it's true that the twine stuff on the handles tends to unravel and come off after the knives have bounced around a little. I haven't found that to negatively affect the way they throw. If anything, it makes them better.
