AmScope SM-5TZZ-144S Professional Trinocular Stereo Zoom Microscope, WH10x and WH20x Eyepieces, 3.5X-180X Magnification, 0.7X-4.5X Zoom Objective, 144-Bulb LED Ring Light, Ball-Bearing Double-Arm Boom Stand, 110V-240V, Includes 0.5X and 2.0X Barlow Lenses

I've been using it for a couple weeks now. It's a very well made microscope, and overall I'm quite happy with the product. Three small but annoying issues prevented me from giving it 5 stars -1. A small instruction pamphlet is included (as opposed to a full set of instructions). The instruction pamphlet refers to a website where you can download the instructions, but you need a password. In some cases, the password is printed in the pamphlet itself. However, in other cases (such as mine), the password box is empty and you're supposed to look on the outside of the packaging box for the password. By the time I read this, I'd already thrown away the packaging box itself. This is silly, if the instructions aren't included then they should be downloadable without requiring a password. If there really must be a password it should be in the pamphlet and not on the outside of the box. I also e-mailed AmScope with my order #, purchase date, etc. and asked if they could send me the instructions...it's been five days and I haven't heard back.2. This particular package only comes from a .5 and 2.0 Barlow lens. However, the microscope is designed such that the LED light ring attaches to the Barlow lens, so if you don't want any Barlow lens magnification (i.e. 1.0x) you either need a ring adapter (which mine didn't come with) or something like  AmScope SM10 1X Barlow Lens For SM Stereo Microscopes (48MM) . AmScope should include the adapter ring or the 1.0x Barlow lens, otherwise you can't mount the light without using one of the (non-1.0x) Barlow lenses.3. The LED light ring is just "okay". I sometimes have to tap or jiggle it sometimes to get it to work...I'm going to take it apart soon, hopefully just a bad internal connection. But, the build quality of the LED ring isn't as good as that of the other components.Again, I like this microscope quite a bit and overall I would recommend it...just a few minor flaws that are fairy easily remedied.

This has been an excellent Microscope for the price. Amazaon and Amscope have provided excellent service helping us purchase the correct microscope for the job.
