It fits like it was made for my old kindle. It closes tight and the material is firm. Makes it feel like a new device.

I finally replaced the case for my 2011 Kindle Fire and am very pleased with this case. It was easy to put on and is both beautiful and feels nice.

I inherited my Mom's 1st gen Kindle Fire (2011) and the case was worn and peeling. I purchased the Fintie Folio Case in Shades of Blue which is absolutely lovely. It only rates 4 stars because the case does NOT put the Kindle into sleep mode like Mom's original case. This one is still a bit stiff, so perhaps after several uses, the cover may loosen up a bit, close better and put the thing to sleep. The case fits snug and is relatively easy to insert the tablet, biggest challenge is the loop fastener insert tab that makes it difficult to get the tablet in straight or adjust it if it needs a bit of sliding, wrangling to get the best fit. The case folds easily and fits snuggly into the insert on the back, allowing for use as a stand. This case is lightweight, yet feels sturdy. My concern is the faux leather part - that typically means peeling, cracking, etc. after a good bit of use. I like the stylus loop although I don't use one. Fit is spot-on as to the power button, earphone jack and charger port. Other extra holes and such don't really bother me but the same are unnecessary for this model. I love the color, pattern and texture the best. This is a very pretty and stylish case. Mom would be pleased. I know I am.

This FINTIE Dark Purple Leather Folio with Accessories package is just what I was looking for when I began looking for an accessories kit for my wife's new Kindle Fire. She was afraid to use the Fire without a case or screen protector for fear of damaging it and I am happy to report that after receiving this product she is no longer afraid. Along with being stylish this kit includes several useful tools. First and foremost, having multiple charging and content loading options is a must when buying anything that could be considered "new tech." The included car charger, USB docking cable, and extra cable are a perfect solution for this. Additionally, the screen protector fit perfectly. This is rare among screen protectors. The only cons to the screen protector is that it did not include the squeegee for applying it cleanly and it is not anti-glare. I used a playing card and it worked fine, I am not concerned with anti-glare. If you are concerned with anti-glare in your screen protector, do not use that as a determining factor for buying this kit. The kit is great and is worth far more than it is being sold for. The stylus included alone is worth the cost. There are anti-glare screen protectors available on Amazon to supplement this kit as well as there being other color options. Definitely worth the buy. Folio can also be folded into a stand for viewing movies.

This is a great case / cover for my kindle fire that I still use. I have every kindle made due to living in the Sierras which has little social life, so reading is vital, along with YouTube.
