Q: how many lbs pressure does in deliver?

On my old benz, pushing heavy WVO all the way to the front of the engine, it maintains around 8-10PSI. When the weather is warmer, or if I use a blend of WVO mixed with diesel it seems to reach around 12PSI. At this higher pressure, I can hear the pump cut off and on as it reaches its limit... pretty sure this is the way it's designed. Hope this helps. I've had mine installed since october last year and it's still going strong. My lift pump on my old benz gave out at the same time I installed this Carter pump. I knew it was about to go cause it could no longer pull the heavy WVO from the tank. This Carter pump is doing it all by its self and the car never ran so good (has as much power) as it does now. All I know is I am using the pump on whatever comes out of the gas pump.I've heard that summer blend & winter blend is different.The only way to know for sure what is in your gasoline is to test it. Talk to another pump manufacturer if you can find one in this country that actually makes their pumps. Carter is just the engineer not the actual manufacturer.

This pump should work for this purpose - but you should be aware that it pumps at less than 1 gallon per minute and thus it would take a while for it to pump any large amount. I am using the pump to transfer diesel from my aux. tank to my main tank and am working on a system to shut the pump off when the fuel flow stops as I do not think that running the pump with no fuel is good for the pump.
