Huge Bang For your Buck
I’ve installed this sound system on two of my own motorcycles, and I can confidently say it offers exceptional performance for the price. Having installed dozens of these systems on customers' bikes as well, I’ve found them to be consistently impressive. The system is very easy to install, and the audio output is surprisingly loud and clear given its affordability. While it doesn’t compete with high-end setups costing $1,500 or more, it easily outperforms many other systems in its price range—and even some factory-installed audio systems found in modern vehicles. The only downside I’ve encountered is that the chrome versions tend to rust fairly quickly, and even the black models can show rust around the speaker grills. I recommend avoiding excessive exposure to water. That said, they are water-resistant, and I’ve ridden through heavy storms without any issues.Overall, this is a great value system that delivers excellent sound quality and durability when properly cared for.

Crystal Clear SOUND and LOUD!
The media could not be loaded. I ordered this on a Tuesday night and received it Thursday morning. Product was exactly as mentioned in the posting, new, unopened and all parts were there. Instructions were easy to follow, but best of all was THE SOUND. I purchased this item formy Harley Softail and only mounted 2 speakers on my back crash bars for the momen. The sound was surprisingly crystal clear and loud. Bluetooth connected without any problems. What I really love about these speakers is the volume control. My husband mounted the switch near the horn cover where I could easily reach it while riding. Most speakers will only go as loud as your phone will go....but not these. I had my phone volume all the way up and I could still increase the volume with the controller. Im looking forward to adding the 2 addtl speakers although I dont feel I really need them. Needless to say, we were really impressed. Set up took about an hour only because we had problems bolting tbe seat. (unrelated to setup.) QUALITY PRODUCT, LOOKS GOOD, AFFORDABLE AND SOUNDS GREAT TOO!!

Needs a few changes !
Well one thing that is wrong is the speaker covers rattle so I fixed it by putting clear silicone caulk around the covers and that has worked so far !The other downside is the clamps that come with the system is of poor quality and look terrible on your bike and the on/off switch is zip tied instead of it actually having a clamping style clamp !And over all it is loud enough to hear but could use a few more amps to make it louder so it is louder to hear on the freeway !And it could use a way to adjust the treble/bass so you can make your music sound better !Other than those changes that need to be made over all I am pleased with this purchase !Best wishes to everyone and ride safe !

Available in black or chromed, great sound for a small-sized system.
I bought the black version of this audio system and it works really well on my Kawasaki Concours 14. The black finish matched the bike perfectly. I bought this chrome version to put on my cruiser, a Yamaha V-Star. It's louder than the pipes, but gets hard to hear at highway speeds and heavy traffic. Either model has a volume knob but you'll also need to set the volume of your Bluetooth device, presumably your phone. Take care not to mount the receiver too close to the engine or the heat may damage the unit.

REVISED: Save your money
REVISION: Well, after just shy of 3 years of ownership ... I've had to replace 3 speakers, 1 amp, and made multiple warranty claims ... and the latest install was a complete new system that saw a metal bracket brake within a couple weeks, and now the wiring on the new system is creating horrible sounds. It's gotten so bad, I'm taking the whole system off my bike. The music was nice, but it's just not stable/consistent and become more of a headache.SAVE YOUR MONEY! ... Make another choice!Bottom line ... I'm running a 1994 Harley and my sound system options are limited (barring major customization), so I chose this system to add a little music to longer rides. The system installs relatively easy (I recommend having a friend help mount the speakers OR being skilled with a set of vice grips) and the sound is GOOD. No, it's not "great" quality because you're limited on bass and have to constantly combat engine noise and wind ... but it's still solid, audible music and clear as a bell (at least to a point). Honestly, when I had to do a last minute 700 mile solo, I was SO grateful to have the option of playing the music. The negative comes that, for me, at about 70 mph on the interstate you should just turn it off because it's barely audible. There's just too much noise from other vehicles, wind, road and engine at that speed (on my carbureted Harley) for it to really be clear enough to care about. But any conditions below that and you've got a solid little sound system.THE HUGE PLUS is the customer service from Boss Audio! You get a 3 year warrantee when purchasing through Amazon. I ran into an issue after a couple months where exterior of one of the speakers started to turn from chrome to white. This had come from water/weather damage. Boss quickly got me replacement speaker out. About a year or so later, my sound quality/volume suddenly reduced to ridiculous low levels (I suddenly could barely hear that music was even playing when I was just idling). Another phone call to Boss, and I had a new amplified by the end of the week.I'd wish I didn't have to make these replacement/claims, but I do log considerable miles on my bike (and ride in all weather), so the fact that Boss stands by their product goes a long way for me (and it's very likely others won't experience any of the issues I've described above ... but if they do, Boss Audio will have their back!)
