Great choice!
So glad I went with the higher quality and big tires. My little guy can keep up with us in his scooter when we are riding our bikes. Plus the bigger tires make it less dangerous and likely to fall. Probably good for kids ages 9 and up to adults. Very sturdy.

Choose a Different Scooter
There were two significant issues with this scooter, so I returned it.1) The brake on the back wheel did not work. The brake consisted of a very thin piece of metal that the rider pushes against the tire to slow down. However, the brake on this scooter model was so thin and flimsy that it didn't "bounce back". Instead it stayed depressed against the tire. My impression is that this is a design flaw rather than a one-off issue.2) Another design issue is that the tires are nearly impossible to inflate because of the location of the stem.My strong recommendation is that you save yourself some hassle and choose a different scooter.

Five Stars
My 11 year old son loved this scooter. It is sturdy and suitable for an older child.

Something is wrong with the front wheel.
I bought this scooter for my 15 year old son. He wanted something with a strong frame, that would hold up well. It seems like a very strong, sturdy scooter, but after only riding it a couple of times (on the street, nothing rough), something is wrong with the front wheel. It's loose, and he can't ride it. I'm not finding a way to get replacement parts, or a number to call. He had an old worn out scooter, of a different brand, and he switched the wheels. The wheel from the other brand is working fine.

Maybe It's a Fluke...
I ordered two of these for my kids before they went to spend a month on a farm. Only one showed up in time, so I had to ship the second one back and order a third scooter to be delivered to the farm. When that one arrived, it sadly had a defective tube, so one of the tires won't hold air. I am going to pick my kids (8 & 11) up this week, and they said they've been enjoying the one functional scooter out of the 3 we've tried for. I'm posting this review now in hopes of getting a new tube sent to us to the third scooter is functional as I can't get a message to the seller via Amazon. I will post an update and pics once I'm actually with the kids.

replacement parts are only issue. (was issue)
I absolutely love this scooter. I only wish I could find bearings so I could ride it again. The website/owners manual give 0 info on parts so take really good care of it.. PS. After reaching customer service I can say I am the most pleased customer in the world. They are replacing it for me and the customer service rep was extremely nice and helpful. Great buy!

handle is too low,
Hi I bought 2- Dx1 offroad scooter for me and my husband. the details said it could handle up to 180 pounds however the handlebars are too low for an adult to comfortably use. Im; checking with the company to see if there is a version of this with a higher handle bar or can we purchase a longer bar to fit these units.
