ALLIMITY RC-898M RC898M Replacement Remote Control fit for Onkyo AV Receiver TX-NR545 TX-NR646 TX-NR747 TXNR545 TXNR646 TXNR747

I have Onkyo AV Receiver TX-NR636, which was not listed in the supported project, but I took a chance since it was not expensive. Onkyo also provides mobile remote app for the receiver but it does not work very well. So, I ordered this remote and it worked very well with my receiver. As someone else reviewed, BD/DVD button does not work, and some buttons are not useful in my receiver, but what I need works very well. Hence five star!

I was skeptical about RC 898M because the remote I needed was RC 897M. My AV HT R 494 was not listed in the compatible receivers. And I asked in questions whether this will work for my AV Receiver.. But the answer was no. But I decided to take a chance and finally when I received the remote it is working very well just like my original remote. The only problem is RC 898 M is having few (3) extra buttons which is not needed for my player and those few buttons wont work in the remote with my player.So I am giving 5 stars since it is working well from last 3 weeks and I am satisfied and also its value for money.

Its a good Replacement Remote for Onkyo TX-NR646 AV Receiver considering its price. Does it job. The only issue is the BD/DVD BUTTON does not work. This is the only functionality which does not work in this remote. You need to manually select the BD/DVD HDMI Input from the receiver. Requested for replacement and got another replacement remote but that also has the same issue. Seems like this button functionality does not work for Onkyo TX-NR646 AV Receiver. Can't expect much.
