Crucial CT2CP25664AA667 4GB (2GBx2) 240-pin DIMM DDR2 PC2-5300 Memory Module

So far, I never had any problem with crucial ram. I install this memory inside a Dell Precision 380 and it has been running great. I had some installation problem installing both modules at first because my system was using a old bios. Once I update my bios the ram installed without any problems. My computer now run faster since the ram upgrade. Just a Reminder: If you are planning to install this ram on a 32bit Windows OS then you need to remember that Windows will not recognize the entire 4 gigs. My Windows 7 32bit system only recognize 3.25 gigs of the ram. If you are installing this ram on a 64bit Window OS, then you are fine. This a Windows limitation not a Crucial problem.

There are plenty of brands to choose from when it comes to RAM. I have used pny, Samsung, and Kingston. I've had issues with all of these on occasion, so I wasn't really picky when it was time to purchase some RAM for my pc. I've had no problems so far with the crucial brand and I plan on purchasing another 4 gigs from crucial to finally max out my pc. It has performed quite well and I had no issues after installation. The price is solid as well. I would have had to pay 20 dollars more if I had went to Best Buy and purchased the pny brand for this configuration, which is my least favorite brand. I would definitely refer this to brand to anyone who is not sure whom to purchase from.

Desktop needed more memory. Installed and works just fine. Gave me a chance to clean all the dust-bunnies out while I was in there!

Started running Win7 64 bit so I needed more memory. Good price, great shipping, works great. Memory upgrade is one of the cheapest and easiest ways any PC user, even a novice, can improve system performance and speed. If you are running 2meg upgrade to 4 meg. If you are running 4meg upgrade to 8meg. Just remember that if you are NOT running a 64 bit operating system 4 megs is the max amount of memory your system will use. You could install more than 4 megs, but you would be wasting your money, your 32 bit system can only use 4 megs.

I had a hard time upgrading the memory for my Acer desktop that I purchased through Amazon. Crucial sent me down a bunny trail and I ended up returning memory orders that Crucial and an Acer Reseller recommended. Finally Crucial said that they do not sell 800 MhZ memory in that type. Amazon did not have the information available online. Acer was definitely not helpful. Finally I called Kensington and immediately got the information that I needed and efficient customer service and support. Thumbs up to Kensington. Thumbs down to the other vendors.

My .(dot)com cousin recommended this product to us to increase our computer's memory and the speed of its operations. I am basing my confidence in this product on his judgment despite the fact that it is "made in China". We try to buy "American made" as often as we are able to. The items purchased arrived in a timely manner and were packaged to protect its "fragility".

I personally consider the Crucial brand very reliable and prefer buying Crucial memory, but this listing, which shows as being shipped from Amazon.com but actually came from AntOnline.com was deficient in that it didn't specify that whether the memory was single-ranked or dual-ranked, something I didn't know I needed to know at the time but the listing should have FLAGGED IN BOLD to insure people knew what they needed and what they were getting. Single-ranked memory has only memory on one side of the DIMM while dual-ranked has it on both. The problem is that some systems (older ones) can only use single-ranked memory and if you purchase dual-ranked memory by accident, you have just bought a paperweight, because your system won't be able to use the memory and AntOnline will not take it back if the package has been opened. If course, I had to open the package and try out the memory to find out that it wasn't the proper type despite the fact that ALL other specs matched perfectly. Because they don't specify how the memory is ranked in the listing, as far as I know they could sometimes be shipping single-ranked and sometimes dual-ranked.

I bought two 4GB kits, since I had two compatible machines CRYING for more RAM. It arrived in a timely manner, and obviously it was easy to install, I mean, it's RAM. No screws, no wires, you know the drill, just drop it in. I bought and installed it in November and both machines are humming along happily.

Memorie inserite nel mio Dell Optiplex755 MT. Da 4 Gb sono passato a 8G. La confezione kit 2x2Gb protegge bene le memorie. Nessun problema nel loro riconoscimento.

je viens de monter les barrettes Crucial CT2KIT25664AA667 4Go Kit (2Gox2) (DDR2, 667MHz avec mes anciennes et le PC ne demarre plus . Je les ai montées seules et aprés de multiples essais l'ordinateur a bien voulu démarrer mais cependant le système d'exploitation (linux ou windows) ne se lance que s'il fonctionne en 34 bits , en 64 bits tout se bloque . Je précise qu'avec les anciennes barrettes cela fonctionne bien dans les deux cas. Tout cela me laisse penser que ces barrettes ne sont pas de bonne qualité.

No issues at all. Click click done. Power up the computer and the old computer has a new lease on life as a Minecraft server. Went from 2G of ram to 6G of ram and server performance is much better.
