I would think so as you can't see through it. It's a towel at the end of the day.

Q: Would small or medium be better for using for sweat at the gym and playing squash?

We have five sizes from XL to XS (200*100cm to 60*30cm). And the XS to M are good for sports, while M to XL are better for beach or pool.

Q: Amazon - what is the gsm for xxl towels please i.e. absorbency level, & are they exactly the same as stripy eono towels at half cost?

It is very absorbent and dries quickly too GSM is irrelevant imho .
