For me the size
It looks much bigger in the picture and i didnt check the size before but fortunately i had a space for it.

Simple design reasonable quality some limitations
It's OK. No bulb just some high brightness LEDs on a PCB at the base of the unit. The inside walls are peened to diffuse the light. The light is bright and white, not warm. From a low angle there is quite alot of glare. It needs to be elevated or hidden behind a piece of funiture to work effectively. And it is expensive for the money considering the design. However the angle helps in reducing glare from behind, it looks good cosmetically and the outer finish looks good.

Background lighting
This small lamp is perfect for gently lighting up a dull corner. I really like the design, I wanted something that was discreet but with sufficient light and this is what this lamp provides. Delighted with the purchase.

Good product but disappointed with the price
Nice up lighter and the design and colour are very attractive. We bought 2 first and then wanted a third, I was disappointed to find out the price had increased for the 3rd one. The light they give off is a nice gold colour and cheered up our house. I would buy again
