Quiet, cool, and fast.... at a good price.
So far, so good. I replaced a Radeon HD770 with this. Should be getting about 50% improvement. A quick run through some games and I can see an definite improvement. Time will tell.... The card is quiet. There is no 6pin or 8pin connector needed for extra power. Amazing, but true! I did have some installation issues. The card would spin up, but the BIOS would hang. Fortunately I still had my old HD7770, so I loaded it back up.... went to my motherboard site... and downloaded the latest BIOS. I updated the BIOS, and it worked. The note on the BIOS update was a fix for Nvidia cards hanging.... just like I was experiencing. All better now. I really like a quiet computer. And, I despise the need to run fans at a high RPM just to push the hot air from the PC back into my room. Come summer, I do not want to be dealing with an 90+F computer room. Remember, 35C = 95F. With not needing an additional power cable connector, the card only uses the power from the PCIx slot, and thus, runs much cooler. When those overclocked rigs are running at 60C, that is 140F!!!!! Ouch. So, quiet, and cool..... perfect for me. I'll be selling my old card, so my net upgrade cost will be minimal. I'll update as my gaming evolves. 2/13/2016 update: Everything works great! I would say 'quiet', but to be fair I'd have to say 'no noise at all'... Yup. Perfect for me. Still 5 stars. FPS is very high compared to my competition - sweet.

Thoroughly Enjoying Current-Gen Gaming With This Little Card
This card has replaced an aging Radeon HD 4830 512MB DDR3 card, which has done a fantastic job in the past. But my recent revisiting of PC gaming, particularly BioShock Infinite, had prompted me to look around for something newer and better. I have done lots of comparing of the new Maxwell cards that are out there right now. In particular, I paid much attention to the employed cooling methods of the various incumbents. Let me say that I originally had my eyes on the EVGA GTX750 Ti SC edition, simply because its cooler is similar in size as this one. But then I read that the cooler was using a constant speed that was very audible, and so I started shopping around. I should also mention that I have a very limited budget, and so price was also a deciding factor. Most GTX 750Ti are priced around $159 or even higher depending which brand you go with. And almost all of them stressed that they were somewhat over-clocked. What finally moved me to pull the trigger on this Zotac one was that that it was priced really well at $149 and that according to some reviewers, the fan was very quiet. I can hereby confirm that this card is virtually inaudible and performs extremely well. Now I'm not usually running any benchmarks on my system, but this card runs extremely well. Let me give you some examples. Before I continue, I should mention that I run my desktop and games in 720p for the simple fact that my Sony Bravia 37" HDTV has a native resolution of 1280x720, even though it accepts 1080p signals. That is why I don't see the point of cranking up the resolution in my games. I should also mention that at this point, I can easily be wowed with PC games since I have played all my previous games on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and now Wii U (which I btw. love!). On the the tested games and conditions under which I ran them. 1. Fallout New Vegas - Ran the game on my old Athlon 64 X2 5400+ with 4GB DDR2 memory and the Radeon card managed this game very well at Ultra settings and 720p, though it chugged a bit when trying out in 1080p. But at 720p, it ran very smooth with the occasional hiccup. With the Zotac GTX 750 Ti, this game runs as smooth as it can get, even on 1080p. And I'm not talking about indoor scenes, but the beautiful outdoor scenery, which it renders absolutely perfect without a hitch. Even when the action gets going, it barely budges, except for the occasional stutter caused more by the buggy game engine when it loads an enemy or a scripted event rather than because the card can't handle it. Hey, it's Bethesda for ya there! 2. Warp - An indie game by Trapdoor published by EA running Unreal Engine 3. EA. That should be a warning sign already. The game chugged like crazy on my Radeon 4830, especially when transitioning rooms. This is somewhat alleviated with the GTX 750 Ti, though still present. After replacing the Athlon 64 with the new FX-8320 and DDR3 ram, the chugging is minimized, but still there. This MUST be a horribly optimized game. Oh yeah, it screen-tears like crazy. Not very happy. But again, not the Zotac or NVidia's fault. 3. Bioshock Infinite - Now this game's performance just blows my mind. This game must be optimized fairly well because even my old rig with the Radeon 4830 ran the first half hour of the game starting on sea, then the light house, and the first sequences in Columbia extremely well. I was almost considering to scrap the entire upgrade and stick with my years old setup for a while longer. Until I entered the city of Columbia and stood in front of Father Comstock's statue. I should stress, that even with the old setup, I ran the game on Very High and even tried Ultra for kicks. But in this scene is where the fun ended with my old setup. Also, there's some kind of shop next to the statue. When you're inside that store, the frame rate dropped significantly. - Enter the Zotac GTX 750Ti. This card handles Bioshock Infinite beautifully all on Ultra settings and even the DX11 Alternate Lighing setting turned on. I also forced FXAA in the NVidia Settings Panel for this game. It looks soooo pretty that I could just sit there drooling at the sight of it. Now I have to add that I purchased the NVidia card first before the CPU upgrade, and so I had this little card running inside my old setup for about 2-3 weeks. And there were still some hiccups when Bioshock was loading new scenes. These issues have pretty much disappeared now that I have the FX-8320 in tandem with DDR3 memory (4GB only and VISTA!). There are a few off-scenes where not much actually seems to happen, like a guy shoe-shining some other guy's shoes, and weirdly, the framerate drops a little? But overall, I'd say the game runs perfect. Oh, and I have V-Sync on as well. If I haven't made it abundantly clear by now, I am very impressed with and excited about the GTX 750 Ti. And Zotac has delivered a bare bones card, don't get me wrong, but it performs so well that I am tickled pink. Mind you that this card is pretty much designed like the NVidia reference board, and this is not overclocked at all. Would I see a performance increase if I did? How would I even know giving that my current set of games run sooooooooo extremely smooth (on 720p) that I probably wouldn't be able to tell the difference at all. Might be a different story with 1080p, might be a different story with other games, like Metro Last Light, Battlefield 4 or Crysis 3. But since I don't own any of these games, I can't pass any judgment other than this: This card works great in 720p for new games and 1080p on older games. A final niggle, but it's not really worth for me to take a star off: the HDMI port is a Mini-HDMI port, for which no cable or adapter is included. Luckily, I had one laying around from hooking up my tablets to the TV, so that's not an issue for me. Just be aware that you may have to purchase either an adapter or a new cable if you want to hook this up to your HDTV. Final verdict: very much recommended for those that running games in 720p. Your mileage may vary with 1080p and newer games, but with PC games there's always the option to dial-down on the quality settings. I for one am very happy. Thank you NVidia for Maxwell and thank you Zotac for a budget price that fits my bill. 05/02/2014 EDIT: I finally got a hold of Metro Last Light, and after an initial setback due to an older PhysX driver that got installed with the game which rendered it virtually unplayable, it is now running smooth as butter with the latest PhysX driver from nVidia which fixes the issue. And let me tell you, it runs extremely well in 720p on very high setting and Advanced PhysX turned on. The particle effects are gorgeous and the lighting is fantastic. Most of all, the frame rate is at a stable 60 fps with V-Sync on. Absolutely fantastic! 05/18/2014 EDIT: And another game that struck my attention and runs really well with this card is Dishonored. This game actually runs well even on 1080p, again with what appears to be 60 fps, although I should add that Dishonored is "just" a DirectX 9 title. Just throwing that in here for those who were wondering about 1080p.

Installed on Dell Studio XPS 9100 MB..Excelent!
After tons of research and not getting a good answer on this MB I called EVGA to ask..The dude sounded like he just woke up and told me right away the 750ti would not work in my pc...No research, just flat out NO... Guess what EVGA...You lost a sale because of sloppy support. good job. Then I called DELL...Have mercy...If your pc is out of warranty don't even bother to call..Terrible! ...So I decided to call NVIDIA. The guy there was awesome. He researched it and called me back the very next night, right when he said he would. Mind you I called at like 845 pm my time, the first night and they answered. He told me it would in fact run on my PC. I have a 500 watt power supply and there was plenty of room in the case and on the 9100 MB to use the card. So I got it. I installed it yesterday and had to make a trip to BestBuy to pick up a DisplayPort adapter to run my 3rd monitor. As you can see in the pics, I am running 1 on the HDMI port, 1 on the DVI port and 1 on the DisplayPort ...The adapter I got was an HDMI to Displayport ACTIVE adapter. The Amazon Description is not correct on what ports it has. It says 1 x DL-DVI 1 x HDMI 1 x Display Port VGA (with included adapter) What it actually has is 1xDL-DVI (with VGA Adapter) 1 x HDMI 1 x Display Port They list it as having a display port adapter and its not..Its to convert DVI to VGA. Like I said I had to go buy the Display Port Adapter. PROS: NVIDIA Tech Support is top notch! Answered all my questions and helped me pick out the card that was best for me. He asked me for a picture of the inside of my PC to make sure it would fit. I emailed him the pic and he called me right back. They even made a follow up call to make sure everything was good on my end to order a card. Super quite fan..I have 4 fans in my case already and I had no noticeable increase in fan noise when rendering a video last night. Easy install. Supports up to 3 monitors with the proper cables Cons (reason for reduced star) ZOTAC ISSUES NOT NVIDIA Zotac instructions that come with this unit are pretty outdated. No where in the instructions does it show a DisplayPort but instead an S Video port. The Zotac driver disk failed on me the first time trying to install it. The Autorun also did not work and my setup is set to autorun a disk. About half way through the install it just stopped and said that it failed to install the drivers. I took the disk out and started over and it ran fine the second time. Kinda freaked me out at first. If you are trying to run the disk and the autorun does not work the book says to click on LAUNCH.exe...well there isn't one. Its called ZTOOLBAR.exe I thought that was the launcher but who would name that toolbar? I don't want or need a toolbar...It doesn't install a toolbar non the less but come on...Name it something else. All in all I am very pleased with the purchase and the tech support from NVIDIA. Top Notch in my book. I hope this review helps anyone with a 9100 MB looking to upgrade your card. Thank you and Happy Shopping!!

Many guys lies about the performance and fps with this card. Well the truth is that its a good card with decent performance in almost all the latest games. I bought this card from Amazon on 13th April 2017 and since that day i am planning a lot of games with this card and checking its benchmark. Before buying any card it's very important that what you want. If you want a decent gaming performance then go for it and don't waste more 3000 to 3500 rs on gtx 1050ti because neither of them can run the latest games of 2017 in maxed settings. So i recommend this card if you want to play latest games in mid and high settings below 1600 * 900 resolution. And if you want to play all latest game in maxed out settings then go for gtx 970 or gtx 1070 or any higher card. I bought this card because its price is quite decent and the performance is pretty good and I am satisfied. I have tried some games and my pc spes is AMD FX 6300 RAM 10GB ZOTAC GTX 750Ti List of games i have tried in different settings on 900p (1600*900) resolution 1. GTA 5 high and mid settings 65 to 70 fps 2. Far cry 4 very high settings 55 to 65 fps 3. COD Ghosts very high settings 80 to 100 fps 4. NFS RIVALS ultra settings 30 fps fixed (as its the maximum fps of the game and never drops) 5. FIFA 17 Ultra settings 105 to 110 fps 6. Just Cause 3 midium settings 40-50 fps 7.Far cry primal high settings 50-60 fps 8. Watch dogs 2 low mid high mixed settings 40-50 fps I will try some more games and update soon. From my point of view i made a good choice. I recommend a good psu atleast a 450w branded psu for better performance

Supper value for performance. 2 gb is not neccesary. Mostly games run fine at mid detail even latest without heavy drain or lag at full hd. Does not heat that much.Twice the performance then 1k lower value cards. Donot look elsewhere under 8k or above 5k for 2017. Please enshure you have PSU WITH DEDICATED 20 W 12 V RAIL. All cheap PSU HAV SINGLE 18w 12 V RAIL and only give 14 w approx . SO DONOT BE fooled if u going to stress the card and have a 90 w proccesor so do the math first. Works fine with PCI-E REV 1. DONOT BE FOOLED BY ONLINE FORUMS. AS I WAS after ordering.
