Since everything started with the pandemic back in March, I have been unable to goto the gym since they were shut down for awhile. During this time I found a new love of running outdoor, but since my work schedule is kinda crazy I was only able to get my runs in during the wee hours of the morning. I started wearing a headlamp so that I could 1) see where I was running and 2) so that vehicles could see me, and not run me over. The headlamp that I originally had was ok, but lacked the ability to use rechargeable batteries.After going through countless AAA batteries I was finally fed up and decided to search for a headlamp that delivered the same amount of light but had the ability to be charged. I came across this headlamp and figured I would give it a shot for the amount of money that was being charged. I don't regret that decision.The light this headlamp produces is much better then my old headlamp and even has the ability to adjust the brightness. The best part about the headlamp is that I can now go a good week with about an hours worth of use each day before having to charge the batteries.The battery pack in the back is a little too big for my liking but after awhile I got used to it and now I enjoy using and wearing the headlamp whenever I go for my runs.I would definitely recommend this headlamp to anything seeking a very bright and inexpensive headlamp that is about to be recharged for countless amounts of use.

This headlamp has proved even more useful than I expected. It is too heavy for jogging -- but that's becuz its battery pack holds (2) full-size rechargeable batteries. But it is easily comfortable enough to wear for an hour or so of almost any other type of activity. Great design! It lets me aim the light where I want the light to show, and it just works. I can adjust the beam size (which I rarely need to do). The function-control button is easy to find and works perfectly. I almost always use the dimmer light setting (for max battery life), but frankly, I'm still on my first charge. Battery life is quite good. I have no use for the rapid-blinking function. This headlamp has proved far more useful than my hand-held flashlights ever were. I always hated trying to work while holding a flashlight in my mouth. Glad that I don't have to do that anymore. Love it!.

I bough this on Prime Day. The light was a good deal if nothing other than it came with two 18650 batteries and a charging cable. This first light I received was defective. The light itself worked, but the bezel that slides in and out to focus the beam was apparently missing a part, because the barrel was so loose that if you looked down, the light focused to a narrow beam and if you looked up, it would focus out. I've owned plenty of these kinds of lights, to know that this isn't right, nor would the light be useable. Amazon exchanged it, and the replacement light works well. It is not the brightest light I own, but it bright and it works well. As for the "wave your hand in front of the light and it turns on and off feature," I wasn't sure how handy that would be, but it actually is pretty nice if you are out with a group at night and you are talking to someone face to face, and want to turn it off so that you're not searing their retina's. It's convenient if you have gloves on, or your hands are dirty or wet.

Headlamp is not bad for 10 bucks. Comfortable to wear for long periods of time and plenty bright. That said, this lamp might be difficult to wear if you were laying on the ground underneath a car...mostly because of the battery pack strapped to the back of your head.My only problem with this headlamp is that the batteries capacity appear to be wrong. They are advertised as 2200mAH but I only measure about 1250mAh....which is only ~57% of the advertised capacity. That said, the batteries arrived as a balanced charged pair and they lasted about 3-4 hours of mixed brightness (mostly set low, but occasionally turned up to high). You can probably double your runtime by purchasing something like a Samsung 25R (or similar) for a few bucks if you find the need.I'm not sure if this lamp has low voltage protection or not, but I did notice that the light output dimmed significantly after the battery voltage dropped to 3V. Considering the unknown quality of these batteries, I wouldn't allow the batteries to discharge lower than 3V. Most modern quality cells can be discharged to 2.5V.

This light is very bright at close range, has two brightness settings, and has a third strobe setting. The beam of light is also adjustable from a wide beam to a very focused, narrow square beam which is very cool. The battery seems to last quite a long time ( I cant give an exact time as I have not measured it, but it has never run out on me). I like that it is rechargeable so no need for batteries. However, the battery pack that rests on the strap on the back of your head is kind of heavy and very bulky and feels very much that way when wearing it. I have found that I can only stand to wear it for short periods at a time.

The product worked well but it only has a bright light, dimmer light and a flashing light. Thought it needed a dial to concentrate the light. The strap came loose from the head set and I was under the floor in the crawl space and I couldn't get it back on.

This is best head light for the price! I had another one and immediately donated it to church garage sale when I got this one. Perfect for needing to use both hands to do something and need a bright light to see (basement, outside at night, etc.) I have used it to hunt for my cat outside, change fuses, start generator in a power outage and also fill the generator with gas which needs both hands. Or just to take a walk outside at night. Comfortable, sturdy and very, very bright.
