Better than Frownies!! These are so much easier to apply, they stay on all night and don't fall off while you sleep. Frownies have a weird smell and you have to use multiple, plus it leaves your skin feeling dry. These leave your skin feeling hydrated have no smell and are comfortable, serving the same purpose. Keeps your skin taught all night long instead of worsening wrinkles in your sleep, plus they are clear and clean so could be worn during the day easier. Will not buy Frownies again.

I bought these and the DermaGen brand at the same time and these are my favorite so far for several reasons. First, they tend to adhere better which keeps them in place when sleeping. I think the instructions state that you shouldn't sleep with them if you are a side or stomach sleeper, however, nighttime is when I get my time in with these strips. I bought a "Just the Pillow" which keeps your face up off your pillow, and the combination works great. The DermaGens tended to move around, and it takes them a little longer to get good adhesion. Used on top of moisturizers, both measured about the same, but doing so reduced the number of times you could reapply the DermaGen. Secondly, you get a lot of sheets with multiple shapes pre-cut so for the price you get a lot more use out of these since they are re-usable. The DermaGens are pre-cut to one shape only (the half moon packets) with about 18 which are usually only re-usable once before they give up on adhesion. Third, these are much more discreet, as they are almost translucent which also helps with applying them where you need to. Because these are so thin and almost see-through, your partner doesn't have to go to bed with someone looking all taped up. The DermaGens are a yellowish thick gel-like pad and there is no escaping the fact that you're wearing them. Do these work? Yes, they temporarily even out the skin so that wrinkles are less noticeable. I had hoped for a permanent solution, which as of yet, isn't the case, but with repeated use most wrinkles stay at bay a little while longer before appearing again, though not as bad. I have definitely noticed days where they don't seem so prominent, but give me a weekend of smashing my face into the pillow and I start to see the reminders that they do exist. Overall, I will stick with these along with my collagen solution and moisturizers. I use a Neutrogena micro-dermabrasion wand a few times a week and it all boils down to keeping up with a skin regimen that we older ladies are resigned to do if we want to freeze time. I'm in my early 50s and hope with the combination of tricks that I can hold off father time a little longer, though I started a bit late.

I ordered both these and the DermaGen crescent patchesThe "Smoothies" have a greater variety of shapes if you want to use them on other areas of the face. They also provide a greater number of patches per box. And they leave less residue on the face. I have to wash my face after using DermaGen, whereas I'd be able to use Smoothies as a quick touch up before leaving for an event should I need to someday in the future.The DermaGen are more expensive, but for me they are more effective. They are softer and cover more area than the Smoothies that are intended for around the mouth. The Smoothies for the smile line area are too small and stiff. They often fall off during the night. And when they stay put, they sometimes cause a new line along the edges of the patch, though I do run my fingernail around the edges when I put them on to attempt to prevent this. DermaGen's softer, thicker patches do not cause new lines on my skin.Though I bought the Smoothies particularly to avoid the "smile line dents" from sleeping on my side, I quite like the forehead patch. My tv is on a stand near the ceiling of my apartment, and I have to look up at it. If I slap this forehead patch on before watching tv in the evening, it prevents me from raising my eyebrows when looking up. May as well nip that possibility of wrinkles in the bud before it ever has opportunity to start, right? :)I've chosen to alternate the two products. Since I don't know the precise ingredients used in either product, I'd rather not have either on my face every single night.I do generally like the product. But if I was only going to purchase one product, DermaGen would have the slight edge over the Smoothies in effectiveness for my skin. Yours may differ!

All I can think of is how many of us are searching for anything that will make us look younger...erase wrinkles or , at the very least soft them a bit. We will try some of the most expensive creams, serums and contraptions to firm, hydrate, brighten, tighten, lift. There are moisturizers, serums, eye treatments, peels, exfoliators, masks, plumpers, neck and decollete wonder treatments. Well, I have spent so much money looking for the Holy Grail. Oh my gosh, if there were a true treatment that would restore us to our 20's, 30's or even 40's, it would be all over the news! Again, I fall victim to the search. This product made sense. I figured the worst thing would be if it did nothing at all. The pieces vary in sizes for different parts of the face. All you do is place it on clean skin and wait for the sticker to smooth your wrinkles. The product does do something. It gives you a very minor wrinkle plumping effect for a brief period of time. I found the biggest difference in my lip lines. I did one side only. I did see a noticeable difference. Alas, it did not last longer than a half hour for me. If you are going to take a few pictures of yourself, perhaps use this if you have no plans to photo shop. Other than that, I am nonplussed.
