MONTANACans Montana Effect 400 ml Color, Glitter Coat Spray Paint

I've used this on frames, skateboard decks, you name it. Works very well - gives a very cool effect - looks great on black - gives is a "space effect" to you work.Only issue that I've found is that if you use with some paints it can result in "bubbling" of the paint. I would recommend to doing a tester using the same undercoating paint before applying to your work. I've found that it works excellent with all Montana sprays that I've used. I've ran into issues with cheaper discount paints - so stick with Montana.

Comes out like a cannon. So far the best flake I have tried without constant clogging issues. Gets used up quite fast, and kinda pricey. But short of using a gun with large 1.2-2.0 tip, this is the best you will likey get. Daddy roth is arguably better, but clogged more. Mine came out a bit dry, but took 2 different brands of clear without fisheye. If you want deep sparkle, you will need a clear afterward.Used on wheels, windchimes, and a computer case. Came out well on all 3, but looked best on top of a metallic grey with 2 coats of clear.Good coverage, decent size flake, but not 'Bass Boat' big. Take care where you spray it, my garage still glitters in the darkness.

I’m updating this a bit, but still giving the product a very solid 5/5. I’ve used this on wood, metal, terra cotta, glass, etc. It's not a 'glitter' per se, but much more refined. It adds a beautiful ‘pop’ without looking cheap. Do yourself a huge favor and steer clear of the smaller cans of XYZ color single color glitter spray paint. You’re art will look like a child dumped a bottle of glitter on it.I’m still a big fan of Rustoleum Frosted Pearl. It’s more subtle and has a frosted opalescent finish. Again— I have both and will undoubtedly always have both as I’ve found very specific uses for both. If you’re wavering between the two, go with the Montana!

Love this product! The glitter effect is beautiful and sprays evenly. The only complaint I have about the product is the nozzle does get stuck on or doesn’t spray sometimes but the effect is well worth it!

This product is great and can easily be applied as lightly or as heavy as you like without needing any special technique. A light coat would give scattered glitter but a couple heavy coats will coat a surface in metal flake. It also adheres very well. I have attached a picture of a heavy coat on top of a dark black base. This is great as a base for airbrushing vehicles as long as you end with a heavy clear coat.

Subtle glitter; Very sheer. A lovely added sparkle on table signs for an event I'm planning. It has a pretty toxic smell, so spray outdoors or with the windows open!

I am love this brand and I just love this brand. It’s anytime I paint it just brings out what I’m trying to portray.

I bought this with the understanding that it was black with glitter. Clearly it's not. The sparkles are beautiful, so I will give it 3 stars, hopefully after I get a can of black spray paint, it will work well over it.
