Works the same as the original.
I found my old Norelco PT730, and decided to buy this charger & some replacement blades. The blades were a no go, but this charger is like the original! It functions the same, and it has plenty of cord length.

Fit
My friend broke his shavers cord while a recent Hampton Inn stay! Was nice to help Jim purchase the replacement. This replacement works just fine.

Does not work for S7887 wet/dry razor
Decent look and feel but this does not fit nor work for the S7887 wet/dry Phillips Norelco electric razor. Just adding this in case someone else comes along to read the reviews and almost makes the same mistake I did. It is a new usb charging cable razor.

My original power cord was drying out and the plastic was coming off the cord itself. This is a great replacement works with both the power base and unit itself.

This charger works for both my 5000 series Shaver and my Phillips clippers . The pictures of the plug end to the shaver/ clipper is very accurate. Also to determine proper fit, check voltage. The info on my unit was faded and difficult to read so all I had was the voltage and the connection picture for the plug to the shaver end. It turned out to be a perfect fit and really worked well. As good as the one that came with the unit. Also the shipping was very fast.
