I dont believe so, because they fit flush to your eyes.

What are the straps made of and are they adjustable?

Straps are made of nylon string & they are adjustable.

How do I change the nose piece? There are two other sizes included, but no instructions for how to take off the one it came with.

Cannot answer that question - did not receive other sizes with the eye mask that I received.

Can these be used during the day? Are they clear enough to look through (ie glasses)?

Yes but I would not use as eye protective while working They are not that big thus your vision is a bit restricted
